Sanjay Kau, as played by Meliodas
He had done nothing but sleep over the last week thanks to being unconscious, so it was a hard pill to swallow once night had rolled its ugly head around. Sanjay couldn’t stomach sleeping, so instead spent most of it rolling around in bed, tormented by dreams of what had occurred on that rooftop. Something ached inside of him, screaming to know what had become of things. Only a few hours of rest found him in the early hours of the morning before he was awoken by a strange girl hovering over him. This seemed to be a theme in whatever life he had picked up since being in the East. What were they all waiting for, or expecting for that matter?
It took a few seconds for her words to register, so politely, and briefly, he spoke. “Sanjay.” Eyeing the room covertly, he was looking for a way out. Although he was welcome in the West, he doubted their leader, Ulric, would just let him walk out freely. Surely the man had questions. Hell, even Sanjay had questions burning at his soul. But he needed to find a way to go underground. There was a tunnel that ran just underneath the Pentagon, cutting a path right towards Capitol Hill and Obsidian Knight territory. If he could just get there, maybe, he could get home and find out what the hell was going on. Although, there was that chance that everything he had known was already gone and that he would be too late.
