Mowkie

Hello, hello! As you have probably already figured out, my name is Mowkie. I am a frequent role player on a few various sites, finding myself to be mostly on Iwaku. Recently, I thought a little something fresh would help keep me inspired.

I am a 23-year-old Medically Discharged soldier (don't talk politics with me...I'll offend you) who fills her days with the life of a stay-at-home mom, gaming, and of course, writing! I am a happy wife to a soldier, a mommy, and the owner of a beautiful cat with the same name as me, a bearded dragon named Ash, and two baby geckos named Ping and Crickie.

My main focus right now (other than the army wife and mommy life) is building on my world, Partheus, which has been in the works for around 10 or 11 years now (it's really hard to keep track). I actually keep a notebook to be sure my ideas stay somewhere I can remember. However, this does not keep me from RP, and it is not the only thing I like to work on. After all, that's why I'm on Iwaku and now here. While I may not immediately be in search of new and fresh RP (as my plate is a little full at the moment, running my own RP on Iwaku as well as being in one RP there and one that moved from Iwaku to here), I search for creative RPs that pique my interest as well as attempt (many times) to GM my own RPs. Since my daughter was born, however, I have slowed down and must come back into writing slowly. My activity depends not only on her mood, but mine as well.

I grew up with writing, both of my parents frequently coming up with ideas for either table-top RP or, as my mother prefers, online RP. I started writing at the age of twelve and found it to be my greatest addiction. Shortly after, upon creating my first online character, my world was born. Originally named Kabola, it later grew into Partheus, World of Three Worlds. Each continent has its own unique story, and I hope to, one day, not only role play those stories out, but also write them in book form for all who love fantasy to read. If I can get each world written, I hope to bring them together in one final tale that both saves and destroys the world, ending my beloved addiction with a bang. This, hopefully, will span across my lifetime.

I love dragons. Truly and utterly. Dragons are my obsession...only cats can compare to them in how much I adore them. Here, that is what I search for the most.

I am a natural writer...one who always adds a good bit of detail. But I have to have something to bounce off of. If I don't, my posts suffer, as does my character. If I don't get a good feel for my character, you will also see a difference. I post as often as possible, typically once a week or so. This depends on what is going on that week (and again, my daughter's mood). Weekends are probably the best time for me to be on, seeing as those are the times my husband is willing and able to watch our daughter. However, with my dad being home every other weekend (he and I kind of have an Ark: Survival Evolved addiction...and we're finally raising baby wyverns), I can't promise anything. You have been warned.
