Question, if this is a medieval sci-fi and we have access to tech that is better then modern age, wouldn't it make more sense if most factions have populations in the millions? Cause I feel like I might need to rework my faction since I'm planning to have my military take up 3% of my population...

@Shadra. you can put your population in the millions if you want, just mention that 500000 are special forces.

guys, a little note, but my grandmother is currently bedridden. I need to stay with her at the hospital and they don't allow wifi in the hospital I'm in, from laptop, phone or other devices. So I'm going to be gone for most of the day. I will however attempt to stay in the loop and reply once a day.

Maybe it could be something like provinces? Like having a kingdom or empire and each our factions run a province?
