I think 15 is good because that’s longer than the rest have been alive. I just wanted to know when we get together to kill the beast and how long we’re together before we get sent back. And I didn’t know how long Witcher or Mage training would take.
@Moose our characters aren’t going to be doing everything together, are they? Because your character is going to continue their studies after we defeat the beast, right? And does that mean we defeat the beast in our teen years (so like 2-5 years in the Witcher world)?
And how long do we want to be separated for, then back together again? So like 10 years separated and five together, or 13 years separated and 2 together, or some other random combination? Basically, when do we defeat the monster?
@Rachel Rider We don't have to be twins. Your character can be 11-9, and mine will be 13. This way we don't have to worry about our characters looking alike (if we wanted) or being the same age. Also, I don't know what age @Lila Renn character will be, but most likely your character will be the...
@Rachel Rider How young? Because I was thinking my character would be 13. If that's too old, we don't have to be twins.
@Moose I'm good with Colt or Wesson.
We can do the birthmarks as a defying trait of who we are (other-worlders). And your character can still do the trail, but I just meant that there's something about your character, maybe they can carry more sigils, or have multiple mutations that are increasingly amplified, that no other Witcher...
Cool! @Rachel Rider @Lila Renn What do guys you think? Do we want to be wished for?
And I figured this way ithe Djinn story would work because then the King can claim we were his kids when the Witcher comes to collect @Rachel Rider character. Since no one knows of our origin except those who...
What about an old oil lamp? It contains a Djinn. Well, the Djinn was summoned by a ruler who wished for a way to break or defeat some cursed monster that would rise up from the kingdoms waters in a few years or so. Promising the Djinn’s freedom in return. The Djinn then said that since the beast...
Yeah! And depending on how we want our characters to react, their change in attitude when they come back will be very interesting to see for the parent/s. Like those who were mad are resigned, those who blamed themselves now blame their parents or the other party, those who were trying to keep...
Well, I think it would be interesting to add the divorce dynamic. It could add that some of us have the drive to keep or make sure everyone is together. While the others are knowing that they will be split apart. There could also be the factor that the divorce happened because one of the parents...
And quick question, what’s going on at our home? Like in Narnia, there was WW1 or 2, their dad was fighting a war, and the whole thing where they were sent away for safety. Are our characters facing any turmoil at home? Like divorcing parents or maybe a loss of a parent?
Well, it's not fully your fault. Now we do have a worried ruler who is freaking out about how things are going back in the Otherworld, and cries when they see mentions of the Otherworld because of how they left!
Also, your character could find or bring together the other's to help your spouse...
Okay! And did anyone want to be married to or be a ruler? Or are we doing a prophecy type thing? Like these four are called from another world to end the reign of terror from, blah, blah, blah......
