    Then you run into the problem of things that were acceptable 50 years ago that are not today. Like historical characters wearing furs as an example. PETA is throwing a hissy fit about Warhammer character wearing fur! Things like that drive me nuts...I bet those PETA people have had to use...

    Short stories are my bane of writing. Now give me a 500 page novel to write! I got that covered. I am getting better, though. My writing teacher always said "Show don't Tell." Oh! and write out all your ideas crazy or not, because if you don't use them now you might later. Hope that helps!

    Another reason is that most people do not know enough about History to do a historical RP justice. It can be difficult if you have no idea what you are doing.

    Depending on the puzzle...And if your character can figure it out. If you are able to express their inner thoughts, simply have them figure it all out go back and forth to what the clues are (or what the characters think they are) and figure it out one step at a time.
