History:
Born into an affluent family, Lucy quickly learned that if she wasn’t striving to be the first to do something, then she wasn’t good enough in the eyes of her family. It wasn’t that they shunned her, but they would just push her harder to do better the next time. As she grew a little older, she learned the family secret, which wasn’t really all that big of a secret as far as she was concerned. It seemed the family never thought they were good enough and were constantly trying to up the other families throughout Lutetia. Perhaps it was that competitive nature that caused them to hand her over to the church when she was five years old. She was the oldest of their clan and since they had no males at the time, it was determined she was the best bet to honor their family and become the best Paladin out there. She knew what would happen if she failed to live up to her family’s expectations and with that thought deep in her psyche, Lucy threw herself into the training and the schooling. While she wasn’t the brightest student, she made up for it with enthusiasm and determination. It wasn’t long before she took her silver and joined the ranks of the Paladins.
