Failed Pancake Art
Hello! This thread is where I'll be storing my OC art for reference or example! A lot of it is years old, I haven't done much new art in the past two years. I like to keep it all in one place to easily check in on, and will probably update new art ever so often. Feel free to post some art of your own if you'd like, it's always fun to chat about character design and features.
Dyami
Age: Ranging from 22-30
Species (Changeable): Human
Orientation: Bisexual
Personality: Very laid back and forgiving, but known to have a quick temper when he feels that he's being taken advantage of. He's very fond of elderly people, and enjoys making friends. His past leaves him with self-worth issues, but he rarely let's these issues come in full view. Independent in most situations but not one to take the lead if it comes down to it, better fills the role of "adviser". Sometimes struggles with his need to be generous and kind, which conflicts with his life experiences that would rather him be wary and slow to trust.
History(Malleable for story lines, some static aspects):
- History of severe drug abuse in youth(the modern equivalent being heroine).
- Works in a Tavern/Bar at night (unless a major event changes this).
- Raised by grandmother, helps in her quaint little shop until a major event changes this somehow.
Lepa
Age: 21-25
Species: Werewolf
Orientation: Homosexual^2
Personality: A chaotic neutral sort of fella with eccentric tendencies and a constant need to be entertained. His high energy is almost rabid, as well as his need to prove his masculinity despite his thin form. He hates to be touched without permission and loves to argue. He loves to read, especially to people. Children make him sick to his stomach.
History:
- Took the role of "omega" in a violent pack after his mother, the previous Alpha wolf, was killed.
- Grew up distant from others and has difficulty with interpersonal skills due to this.
- Made a living off his dancing, he enjoys learning the different styles.
- Eventually made his own escape from a life he didn't enjoy and greatly values his independence. He has a hatred for victimizing.
Jean-Luc, Noname, Logan
Jean-Luc
Age: 25-35
Species (Changeable): Human
Orientation: Bisexual
Personality: Temperamental and hot headed, he was the stereotypical punk kid in his youth. He's prone to violence over discussion and doesn't like to dwell on what he could have done better. He has strong features (nose, eyebrows, eyes) that reflect his inner mind as well. He is sensitive to the plight of the poor, but has allowed bitterness to cloud his altruism. His current state of being is misguided, in which he still lives a life of crime as a way of proving his strength to his dead mother and runaway father.
History:
- Orphaned at 12 years old.
- Recruited by gangs/mercenaries while young.
- Not very good at reading or speaking eloquently.
Noname
Age: unknown
Species (Changeable): Dormant Demon
Orientation: Pansexual, Open to Polyamory
Personality: Air-headed, naive, and far too trusting, Noname is the classic example of easy prey. He has no real notion of shame, although he has enough sense to realize when he's got himself in a bad situation. In the wrong hands, Noname is incredibly malleable to influence. However, due to this, his loyalty is questionable. He's the sort that wants everything, even when it's not possible. Unsurprisingly, everything about him is a lack of choosing one thing. He dresses in androgynous clothing and accessories, often can be found eating desserts during lunch, and is the type to wear socks with sandals.
History:
- Originally he wasone of Beelzebub's descendants (Prince of Hell) and is modeled after the Pied Piper. He has a natural affinity for luring children with his singing voice.
- Abandoned as a pup, he was found by Muriel- He's been an orphan from birth and has survived on the outskirts of villages. Commonly misidentified as a forest spirit that brings misfortune.
- His real name is Aezma (alt. Aeshma), but when uttered forces him into his natural form (a rage demon).
Logan
Age: 22-30
Species: Human
Orientation: Gay as can be.
Personality: A quiet, dry humor sort of character, Logan doesn't usually seem the interesting type. His lack of obvious angst usually disqualifies him as the protagonist for most young adult novels. He is incredibly easy to fluster and scandalize. The rare moments you can get him talking, you usually can't get him to shut up, as he is a nervous rambler. The best way to describe him is a typical introvert with a deep routed curiosity and yearning to socialize beyond his current scope.
History:
- Fairly simple life. Grew up on a farm with 11 other siblings.
- Very strict home and parents, still closeted to them about his orientation.
- Incredibly intelligent in design and architectural study, loves to learn about new culture and history.
