Crap... but my main tech cube was just fully charged a sec ago... Guess I'm gonna have to do things the old-fashioned way... Blake blinked in surprise once seeing that nothing happened. Well, it certainly was just a fancy-looking rubix-looking tech cube on his belt for now.

❝ Uh... yeah, I... getcha. ❞ The ravenette stuttered with his words in response to Tommy, and further feeling that tinge of nervousness flooding him once Billy was unceremoniously carried over to the couch. Along with the signs that something exploded upstairs, Blake was completely panicking mentally, so much that he wasn't going to question the fact that the robot was definitely the stepfather in this loop.

❝ Actually, since food's almost ready, lemme just excuse myself to the bathroom. Eyup! ❞ He spoke in a rushed tone before ushering himself up the stairs to check on the people gathered near the bathroom. What he saw once he got there, well...

❝ W-What the hell is going on here? That... can't be your average day-to-day sewage... all over you guys, right? ❞

Bridgette had moved over to look over Elliot who despite the nasty fall seemed to be alright. "Never been better..." She remarked to Blake. "And no, I don't think it is. We don't stink to the high heavens...do we?"

"Uh huh..." Okay, Stepford much? This place just felt so off, and if seeing this creep was enough to make Billy faint then there had to be something seriously fucked going on here. The least she could do was play nice, at least, until shit made more sense. "Nice to meet you, Mr. Pym."

"O-Of course!" Jianyu wouldn't waste another moment as she rushed out of the room, grateful as fuck that she didn't have her powers right now. It had to be an accident that he called her that, right? Right? Even if he was pure evil (which she assumed was the case because HELLO), there was no way he could've known...and blowing her shit would've fucked them all in the ass.

"Wanda!" Jianyu yelled for the woman, her voice a bit louder than she'd hoped. "Er...Ultron is gonna be coming to dinner after he cleans up..."

Nathan launched backward when the gunk finally released him, his back hitting the wall of the bathtub quite hard. He let out a grunt, and sat up- turning his head to speak to the others before being cut off by the tar-like substance splattering all over him; unfortunately, some landed in his mouth.

He choked and gagged, frantically wiping the liquid off his clothes and face.

"I fucking hate this house!" He yelled in frustration before swiftly climbing out of the tub and grabbing ahold of Elliot.

"Hey, hey! You okay?" He asked shaking the unconscious man, then looking up at the others.

"Thank you for saving my ass."

As Blake tried to send out one of his tech cubes it unceremoniously dropped to the floor and rolled under one of the sofas. Looked like they had lost their juice.





"Ugh, finally!" Biscuit murmured dusting herself off before turning towards Ultron. "You seem awfully calm for someone whose stepson just fainted without warning."

Meanwhile, in the living room, Tommy looked on as they dragged in Billy and put him on the sofa. "Fainted again huh? He really needs to remember to take his medicine."

"Oh did Billy faint again?" Wanda asked from the kitchen. "Dinner's almost done so make sure to save some for him when he finally wakes up!"



Bridgette pushed her way towards Giorno and loaded a couple of pistol shots into the drain that made a sick gurgling sound at the bullets.



The pistol shots and Emily's intervention was enough for the ooze to let go of Nathan and retreat back into the bathtub...before exploding outwards covering everyone inside with the black gunk before gurgling a final time and retreating into the drain for one final time.

Emily tried to help Nathan clean up once she was sure the threat was gone for now, before she too checked on Elliot, frowning a little, even after she managed a smile at Nathan in response to his thanks.

"I... Think this place has been compromised, that's what it feels like. But, I know there must be a way to break this loop, even without my powers. We just have to find the right way. It won't be as easy as last time." She said.

There was a pause as she further considered her options; they could of course head downstairs and attempt to find out more information. Or, explore further into the house, perhaps stumbling across the truth in the process. Either approach was risky now that she knew her powers didn't seem to work here, but she was inclined to take the latter approach.

There had to be something they were missing so far.

Gentaro slowly opened his eyes, the world being a blur at the moment. With a groan, he sat up on the couch Azura placed him on.

He regained his composure, rubbing his temple a little. It was purely exhaustion, and he rested up enough to join them for dinner.

“Y-yeah... I’m coming...” he groaned, getting up and stretching before heading over to the table.​

Nathan stopped shaking Elliot when Bridgette spoke, standing up and leaving the other man with his peers; know he would be safe in their care.

"I'm going to go for dinner, it's probably fucked up too," he muttered to the group, approaching the sink to attempt to wash the remainder of the sludge off his face and clothes. He soon looked up, taking in his reflection.

He had a scar on his cheek from the glass that hit his face when they crash-landed, it was just a small pink line at this point. He ran his finger across it as he continued to observe his face, from the dark circles to his still intact hair. Nathan took a deep sigh before leaving the bathroom.

He definitely had enough of that room.


He felt anxiety bubble in his chest as he crept down the stairs, peeking into the dining room.

The situation seemed to be over already before Giorno could do anything, as he stepped back out of the full bathroom just as Bridgette and the others barreled in to solve the issue. Usually one would feel bad for not helping, but an extra pair of hands would have done nothing but get in the way. As Giorno stood to the side of the doorway as Bridgette, Emily, and finally Nathan came filing from the bathroom one after the other, the don watched as the latter creep down the stairs.

As far as Giorno knew, Nathan had no special abilities of his own - at least, none that he's shown off yet. A kid caught up in business so far ahead of his time that the only sensible thing to do is survive. He was reminiscent of Trish before she got her Stand - keeping up with the supernatural through cunning and the resolve to preserve oneself and those that they care about.

Humans are like that. Learning to adapt to the unknown even if they never understand why it is the way it is. If it bleeds, we can kill it - that sort of thing. Not that being eaten by a bathtub is the most dangerous threat we've faced together thus far. But I guess that's the point. Giorno silently thought to himself, realizing that he was the only one upstairs. He hummed, pushing off the bathroom wall with his leg and following the rest of the party down towards the dining room.

Seeing that Elliot and Billy weren't hurt, Giorno didn't waste any time taking his place at the dinner table, sitting close to either Touma or Clark. Hopefully, this food isn't poisoned. That'd be annoying.

"... Huh," Touma only uttered, freezing up once he'd seen Billy's so-called step-dad for himself, who turned out to be a very scary looking robot man. And that was the least weird part about everything. He almost felt inclined to follow Giorno and others into the restroom to investigate the yelling, but he was stopped by Billy simultaneously fainting at that moment. The boy resisted every ounce within his being to follow upstairs; he was torn between a rock and a hard place if so much trouble was unraveling within the house. It was all, undeniably, a bizarre scene that the family was attempting to play off like it was nothing.

Touma almost felt like he was being gaslit, but he'd been through enough to know when to trust his senses. If they all wanted to play normal, he'd have to do the same for the time being.

While Billy seemed to be laid to rest elsewhere and Wanda nonchalantly announced dinner was ready for everyone to gather, Touma cautiously began to step toward the dining room, clenching his fist tightly. He felt naked without the power of the Imagine Breaker in his right hand, a phenomena that he had almost never felt before, but even so, he'd have to brave through it and venture deeper into this nightmare by the skin of his teeth.

As the others eventually made their way downstairs, sauntering from the cramped restroom, it almost made for a humorous display if not for the grim dissonance of the sunny world that only made everything all the more unnerving. He couldn't laugh at all, his sense of humor almost may as well have died along with the multiverse when Revan destroyed the Great Spirits.

Furrowing his brow at the table, the boy looked to Giorno, Nathan, and whoever else had come from the restroom, before speaking in a hushed tone, away from the notice of Wanda or Ultron. "... What the hell happened up there?"

❝ Okay... guess no bathroom breaks while we're here... ❞ Blake nervously gulped at the fact that this occurred in the bathroom out of all places. There was no telling on what was up in the other rooms, and as much as he wanted to investigate those rooms, it wasn't the wisest decision to keep the homeowner waiting. If that was what wrong in the bathroom, there was no telling what was up in the other rooms, and it was extremely dangerous to do so with his tech being permanently powered off.

So no other "safe" option to go downstairs for now, but he was silently hoping for another opportunity to investigate the rest of the house if possible. The ravenette simply seated himself, and played up the talkative acquaintance act even more.

❝ Ah! That bathroom break took awhile, but I never felt better! Just the kind of cleansing attack on the senses I needed~ Now to top it off with hospitable home-cooking! Haha! ❞ Blake worded his overly enthusiastic act in a way that literally made him cringe inside. He was even winking as much as he could to signify to the others that weren't in the bathroom that something literally attacked them in there. He really did hope that they got the message...

"I don't even know your guys' fucking names," he started, realizing he mostly stuck with people he already knew. His mind wandered, his eyes autonomously scanning the room taking in the perfect look home. He found it unsettling as if it were an IKEA set.

"Also Elliot ate shit and is knocked out," he added nonchalantly, still spaced out.

I hope the food doesn't try to rip off any limbs...

Plus something was really off about this place and she didn't like it.

"I don't even know your guys' fucking names," he started, realizing he mostly stuck with people he already knew. His mind wandered, his eyes autonomously scanning the room taking in the perfect look home. He found it unsettling as if it were an IKEA set.

"Also Elliot ate shit and is knocked out," he added nonchalantly, still spaced out.

I hope the food doesn't try to rip off any limbs...

Hearing the sound of Wanda's voice, she decided to abandon her search of the rest of the house for now. Instead, she shared Nathan's notions of the food potentially trying to eat them and awkwardly headed downstairs with the others.

It was only when Touma reacted to Nathan that Emily quickly tried to explain things, keeping her voice down.

"W-... What he meant was, Elliot got knocked out by something that attacked us. It was like a living, black goo that came out of the bathtub." She frowned a little, remembering once more that her stone didn't work.

Though soon her attention was brought to the unconscious Billy, instantly causing her to tense up upon realizing the implications.

"Wait. What happened down here?" She asked.

Between her powers not working, that creature in the bathroom, and her recent discovery of what had happened to Billy, that uneasy feeling she had felt was steadily growing.

All she could hope for was that this dinner with Wanda might at least give her something she could use to break this loop before things deteriorated any further.​

A frown tugged at Nathan's lips as Emily spoke.

"The sludge didn't attack Elliot, he slipped on a cloth I think," he said flatly.

"Also you guys don't seem to know sarcasm," he scoffed- his eyes narrowing at the group. He folded his arms and leaned his head back until it met the wall, his eyes closed.

He was tired, and this place was more upsetting than the undead infested town they previously inhabited.

" ….. That's a real funny joke you guys. Black goo coming out of the bathtub, but it really does sound like something you shouldn't kid about. Obviously Elliot just slipped on the wet floor and you probably had some bad food at the comic book store, I told you that the food looked expired but you all insisted on eating it. Also, I believe Nathan was saying Elliot had a moment, " He would turn to Wanda. "Do you have any beer to go with this dinner?"

Mason left the garage, yet froze at the entrance to the kitchen. A chill ran down his spine. The last time he'd had dinner with Wanda, things didn't go well. He'd heaed commotion upstairs as well, signaling that following along with this loop was anything but safe. He peeked into the kitchen and spoke to Wanda, "Go ahead and start dinner without me. I'll be back in a minute. I just... uh... need to use the restroom."

Mason quickly darted away without waiting for a response. He certainly didn't head to the bathroom, however. Instead, he quietly hustled up the stairs and took a peek into one of the unexplored rooms.​
