If I've read the Omniverse rules, and say I've even gone so far as to read some of the histories of the worlds I plan on visiting, then what additional efforts would a GM need to undertake to allocate a player into the roleplay? I apologize for my confusion.

Lutetia and the outskirts of Isiria were my first preferred destinations. Lowly. Grimy. Lots of peoples willing to part with information for a quick buck. I also am thinking of exploring eventually a remote corner of space to place more permanent seeds of retreat.

I'm sorry. Is there a protocol for jumping into the Omniverse? Or can I just innately insert a character or two into a zone and start a plotline? What are some things that might help be getting started in the Omniverse?

It depends on the purpose of my post. Answers or questions are usually short and concise. If I want to paint a picture, then I can go on for very long.

I've tried roleplaying as real peoples or in defined fictional worlds. I've always felt hampered with the need to pay respect to the fictional universe I'd be residing in rather than adding to it.

Right now. Everyone is in bed and I've put a sock on the door. An hour ago, I was sitting in the little yard behind the house with a tablet and wifi-extender. Before that I was on my phone with my earbuds, secluded. It is possible, but not without seeming selfish in my mind.

In my mind, the best stories are about good versus good. Is it possible to name any real persons who lacked their own justification for the terrible things they did? Any character I've created, at some point has had or will have to do something to achieve their goal that will cost something...

Usually long. Because I like writing. Short if I'm milking someone for details about something they've created.

I've hardly ever met a character I DO like, even amongst my own creations. This hasn't stopped me from reading a book a week for the last year.
