Godmoding and force-posting really make it a fail for me. As much as I hate one liners they are better than having someone write your characters actions and outcomes for you.

Magic, hands down. Weapons are okay, however magic can be one or make one. For me there is so much more opportunity to embellish and paint an image with my words with magic.

Smaller groups of 3-6 core players are easier to keep track of and be sure to include. Once it gets larger than that it is liable to break up into groups. Which is fine when there are multiple time zones, play times and twists. Simultaneous plots can also help when playing in larger groups. But...
