Mk, question. I want to be a dragon with a human form. Where do they usually live?

Ok, so I want to make a monster character if that is ok, but I have one thing. I don’t like drawing or looking for pictures on the internet. May I just (in detail) describe what they look like? It is alright if you don’t allow that, I just want to make sure before doing so.

I like animal fantasy, or really any fantasy in general. edit: Forgot to say why. The answer is, I’m not really sure, I just like the idea of animals talking and whatnot
