Would be a mixture of both canons and originals probably. Like we'd need Snape, the Carrows, Neville, Luna, and Ginny at least. Maybe Crabbe and Goyle too. But I'd definitely be accepting OCs because the canons aren't the only ones in the school.

I explained it better in the character thread....because I had to explain this exact issue about. Well, other then that you are good to go.

It's a bloodline thing passed down from each god teaching their "children" their specific magic. If you want to hybrid him with say a snow elf, human, or snow spirit you could keep the ice magic.

It's all fine, except if he's one of the lizardfolk he'd have water magic not ice.
