For now, Iry'oz decided to leave it. She turned around and left with a wave, heading for her apartment.
Though it took her a moment to find the apartment, though a few mistakes and a bit of guidance, she came to her room. When she did, she was even more confused. Nothing inside this room was similar to her homeland's buildings.
It would be a long night, one that ended with the young Tamaranian passed out on the floor of her bedroom with her legs propped up on the bed. Before she fell asleep, however, thoughts of the day's events buzzed through her mind. It was so much to take all at once.
A new home filled with people who didn't want her there. A planet of people who were so incredibly unlike her, people who were afraid of her. She could clearly envision the face of the man who had thrown the foreign object at her face earlier that day. She had never seen such fear in the face of an assailant before, but such acts were foreign to her. None started a fight they weren't ready to finish.
Then, to think that she might not be welcome here at all? To the place she sought so desperately?
Well, the thought was exhausting, and Iry'Oz soon found them drowned out by the beckoning silence of sleep.
