Hannibal ante portas

Some people just want cheesecake
I am looking for one or two players that are dedicated to posting. If interested please PM me.

Setting
The City of Bell Harbor sits on the northern Californian cost. The city is split between its coastal old town which has distinctive white buildings and its modern larger sprawl. The City is every tourists’ ideal vacation, but no tourists’ maps list it or cell apps rate it. Those born there or gifted can find the city easily. Not all who find Bell Harbor like what the see. It is a mysterious hole in the fabric of America allows for Realms Uncountable to interact with Earth.

Introduction
Magic comes from the interaction of foreign realms and a willingness of the character to use it. Some paths are inherited and others are worn as a mantle of power. When the mage is a child they are plagued by dreams from the realm their magic's home plane. Inherited magic breeds dreams on the children. Some dreams are nightmares which prepares the child for their destiny.

The Story
The players are protectors or interlopers to Bell Harbor. They will start in the city and will hear the prophecy of a coming doom. The Oracle words claim that Bell Harbor will be torn down and a from its ashes the largest gate to hell will appear. Only they can figure out how to save the Bell Harbor and prevent the coming of another Prince of Hell.

Types of Citizens
Maze Trapped: is a derogatory term for the average person who cannot remember the Strange. Within moments of seeing a display of magic or magical creature the maze trapped forgets. Some scholars call it the haze or fog. The majority of the populace of Bell Harbor is trapped by this fog. (Non-Playable).

Playable

Enlightened: this people can remember the Strange.
Outsider: Creatures from other realms. This lists includes vampires, fey, or traveler from any other realm which can be discussed later.
The Gifted: have the Strange or what myth calls magic.

Magical Paths
Druí tread the Celtic tradition and is linked to Tír na nÓg (Feyland). The non-druí call them druids. A druí channels magic from Tír na nÓg, but it comes with a price. That price is becoming more Feylike than man. Druí are protectors of Bell Harbor against the mechanisms of the Twilight Court.

Kriger
are bound to the cycle of rage and war. They are warriors descended from the Norse berserker (bear) and úlfheðnar (wolf) shifters. Their ancestors dressed in skins and worshiped Óðr (Odin). Óðr blessed them with the ability to shift into the form they wore. The gift was passed down through the ages. Now a Kriger dedicates themselves to battle and with the Strange happenings of Bell Harbor they are sated.

Jinn are the decedents of possessed people who petitioned King Solomon to bind the spirits to themselves. He warned the people that they children would be inflicted. The Jinn acknowledged his wisdom and offered their service to Solomon’s throne. He accepted it and they were his most loyal servants until the destruction of his temple. The act granted the Jinn their freedom and autonomy. The Jinn are vessels of elemental power and without control they become explosive. The Jinn use fetishes to assist in locking in the power. The fetishes are crafted and passed down from grandparent to grandchild. Jinn have three bindings that they can maintain. The bindings can be attached to elemental creatures, land spirits, or spirits of the dead.

Sangādo (Dawn Guard) is a group of warriors dedicated to bushido. The Sangādo order was formed by the divine Susanoo who was expelled from heaven, but continued his fight against the demons. He taught his warriors the art of bushido and gave them the armor of their enemies to keep them alive. The Sangādo are demon hunters and use magics of the sun, storm, and fire in the form of katas to battle the Horde.

Faithful- Seven holy weapons are on the mortal plane. Each grants its wielder the ability to fight Hell’s princes, lords, and denizens of damnation. But the wielder must be worthy of the blade. The purity of purpose, snow whiteness of the soul, and relentlessness of the Cause. Each Faithful has an angel as sword bearer. The powers of heaven are at the Faithful’s disposal.

Destroyers- These people were born with the gift, but twisted by a hellborn. The new creation is a weapon pointed towards all life. They often die quickly, but those who do not are masters of darkness.

Non-Playable Creatures
Hellborn- These outsiders are the bane of Earth. Their sole purpose is to twist and taint the world and to capture the faithful.
Heavenly Creatures- Angels are one type of divine beings. There are many such and if questioned I will answer.
Fey of the Twilight Court- This Court is a dark twisted version the pure Winter and Summer Courts. Most of the other courts are enslaved or altered to serve their new Master.

Well if you made it this far I thank you. If you have any questions send me a PM. Thank you.
