Description: An old derelict church that is barely standing. Like most of the areas in DC, parts have collapsed and other parts haven't. It is abandoned as far as anyone can see. Again, most of the possessions within the church were taken and pews have been left broken and overturned, windows broken etc.

Jay breathed heavily as he jogged into the abused church. Clinging to Betty in his arms tightly she seemed more shaken up then anything. Gently putting her down, Betty didn't hesitate to flap her wings and puff up her chest dramatically. Letting go of her leash Jay turned to walk towards a large pile of rubbish in the corner. The fluffed chicken close in toe.

Pulling the back of a church bench from the edge of the pile to reveal a small entrance. Taking off his backpack he shoved it through before kneeling down and crawling through as well. Maneuvering himself to sit on his feet he watched Betty waddle through before reaching out and tugging the bench back, back into place.

Within this little hiddie hole there was an old carpet that covered the 4 ft. by 6 ft. space. Tugging his bat from his bag he put it head down in the far corner. The only light that graced this safe space was from small holes in the walls made of the tattered remains of the church. Giving Betty a soft pet, he turned to his bag and started to unload the extra materials he had gotten. Mostly things he could not eat, some he could possibly sell. He grumbled as he regretted wasting so much food on a girl. Seeing his food supply was down to a small bag of corn bits, a can of peaches, and incredibly tough bread.

Taking a deep breath he scooted back to the far wall. Taking a handful of corn bits he gently made a pile on a bit of fabric put beside a nest. Laying on a bag of dried grass, he took a small knife and popped open the can. Savoring the sweet fruit quietly as Betty quite pleased, ate away at her own food.
