Empty

There is a hole inside of me,
waiting to envelop me,
bringing me into the peace that is nothing.

The peace that is empty.

This hole grows,
it grows as I age,
yet I do not stop its growth.

Why?

Shouldn't I be scared?
Shouldn't I be afraid?
Of nothing?
Of emptiness?

Why?

I am not afraid.
I will become empty,
then I will be whole.

I am filled with peace.

The hole has enveloped me.
I feel warm.
I feel loved.
I feel alive.
