Favorite Childhood TV Shows/Cartoons

When you were a kid, what were your favorite TV shows or cartoons to watch? I grew up watching Tom and Jerry (the old series) with my dad and brother.

Tom and Jerry was one of my favorites. I used to like all of the old Hanna-Barbera stuff too.

Oh boy, where to start? XD
I watched a lot of shows in my childhood. I guess I'll start with the ones I can think of right now.
  1. Bear in the Big Blue House
  2. Zaboomafoo
  3. Clifford The Big Red Dog
  4. Animaniacs
  5. The Wiggles
  6. Blue's Clues
  7. Between The Lions
There are more but I don't want to stretch this reply more than I already have. XD

Pretty much all the classic Cartoon Network shows--at least the ones that were appropriate for children in the mid-90's. I think Dexter's Lab and PPG were my top faves when I was a youngling. I miss classic CN!

If I had to choose one show that sums up my childhood it’d be Spongebob no doubt. I’m 17 and still watch it.

I'm almost 27 and classic Spongebob is still one of my favourite things on this planet. Good taste :D

These are my favourite childhood shows, but I would (and do) still watch all of them at age 20.
  • Dragon Ball Z
  • Kim Possible
  • American Dragon
  • The Legend of Tarzan
  • Ben 10
  • Powerpuff Girls
  • Codename: Kids Next Door
  • Avatar: The Last Airbender
  • Danny Phantom
  • The Fairly Oddparents
  • Totally Spies

God... There's so many
Well, here goes
  • Courage the Cowardly Dog
  • Ben 10
  • Powerpuff Girls
  • The Misadventures of Flapjack
  • Dexter's Laboratory
  • Jimmy Neutron
  • The Secret Saturdays (I don't think anyone really knows this one, but I loved it as a kid)
  • Johnny Bravo
  • The Grim Adventures of Bill and Mandy
  • Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends
  • Ed, Edd, and Eddy
Not specifically in that order

Oh man I love so many of the old Cartoon Network shows, pretty much all of the ones in the last two posts I used to watch.

Samurai Jack is another one that's an absolute classic. Megas XLR was pretty great and so was Xiaolin Showdown if anyone remembers that one.

And SWAT Kats of course, holy crap, I loved it.

Same! I think my most favourite was Ben 10.

I was a massive Pokémon fan and I loved Mew Mew Power as well.

Adding to that, there's all the standard British TV. Tracy Beaker is the most immediate thought I had, then there's Sorry, I've Got No Head which I thought was the most ridiculous piece of television until I was about... 16? I watched some scenes with my friends to put off a group project and you have honestly never seen two future Cambridge students, a Science Gal and... a gal who doesn't know why she's around all these clever people lose it so hard over a children's TV show. All you had to do after that was go "A thousand pounds?!" and we'd all instantly dissolve into complete hopelessness.

  • Justice League/Justice League Unlimited
  • The Looney Tunes Show
  • Batman Beyond
  • Scooby-Doo (Classic, What's New, Mystery Inc, Movies, you name it)
  • X-Men Evolution
  • Transformers Animated
  • G.I. Joe Renedages
  • Teen Titans (the old one)
  • Star Wars The Clone Wars (old cartoon and CGI show)
Lots of comic books stuff I know, but I freaking loved those shows!

Dragon Ball Z
Naruto
Batman: The Animated Series
Spider-Man: The Animated Series
Justice League
One Piece
Scooby Doo
Ben 10
Spongebob
Fairly odd Parents
Way more but can't rem right now lol
