Halloween and Alien are my undisputed favorites, but I feel the need to also list The Babadook, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and Oculus as honorable mentions.
Skeleton Key is mine (if it even counts as horror lol). I also really enjoyed Crimson Peak and The Conjuring. And I rewatched Carrie last night (the classic Sissy Spacek one), and that one's definitely on the list.
