Name: Steven Donner
Vigilante Ego: Wraith
Height: 6'5"
Weight: 220 lbs/100 kg
Appearance:
–No one has seen his true appearance since he took on the mantle of Wraith.
Roughly what he looks like. Just ditch the sword on his back, and picture him with black armor instead. The armor itself isn't too bulky, it's more like iron man sized?
Powers:
–Summon Wraiths to aid him in whatever task he needs to complete, combat or otherwise. The Wraiths are in a semi-Physical form, as they appear to be shadowy, dark and foggy/ghostly. They can hurt us, but cannot be hurt physically, only temporal disruption. They have bright red eyes, and no other facial features. They resemble humans in terms of body shape, and look like something straight out of a horror film. The can appear from anywhere and attack in large numbers. Stealth is their game, but an all out attack will still devour their targets. They are sentient, and consider Steven as a friend as much as they consider him his master. Can only summon 6 at a time.
–Summon The Ghoul, a large monster more powerful and ferocious than the Wraiths. The Ghoul is a fully physical being that is large and hard-skinned. It had no eyes but does have a mouth. It's brute strength is its weapon and is called upon when Steven needs some more power than just the Wraiths. It acts more like a pet than it does a friend. Can only summon one at a time.
–offensive and defensive abilities stem from his own ability to channel and tap into the energy of the Wraiths, allowing him to possess people and do a number of different attacks such as body possession, hypnotization, and brain shut down. Has to be in physical contact with the target.
Background:
Steven was a good child, born into a happy and considerably wealthy family. They raised him well and he was a star student in school. But then one day, he started to talking to the air in his room. His parents dismissed this as simply an imaginary friend but soon he started talking about things that a child his age should not even know about. They brought him to a doctor but they found no signs of a mental disorder. Steven then started to speak to the air in school and in scared the other students as well as teachers. People then started calling him names, insulting him for being "crazy". Steven would dismiss these insults and not ever bother with anyone else other than his new friends.
His turn to the dark side (hehe) was sparked when his father scolded him at the dinner table, causing him to slam the table and shout vulgar words at him, his voice sounding like it came from a demon's throat. His eyes glowed a hellish red and he tried to restrain himself. But then, at school, a student mocked his "friends" and it pissed him off to the point where the whole school student count went from the hundreds to 0 and same thing with the teachers and staff. He was found in tears on the ground amidst the wreckage of what was once his school. He apologizes for his wrongdoings and hugged his parents. He was then sent to an insane asylum, where he would undergo intense therapy and psychiatric sessions to help him deal with the Wraiths. The doctors were convinced that they could cure him of this "disease" and rid him of his connection with the Wraiths by fixing his mental state; day by day the sessions intensify. The nurses became so afraid and irritated by his hellish red eyes, they chained on a metal mask that covers his entire face; his eyes are now just two white dots.
For years, he's been trapped in the asylum and he has eventually lost the ability to convey emotion physically. He looks and acts like a lost soul. The eventually discovered that his physical body can channel the energy of the Wraiths and unleash their powers by himself, so they bound a suit of steel armor to his body, making him look like machine more than a man.
One day, the Wraith energy inside him grew too powerful and eventually surpassed the restraint of the metal suit. He broke out, and killed everyone in the facility and destroyed it, escaping into the city and staying low. Consuming food and water now occurs by absorption from his Wraith energy he emits. The suit and the mask are now a part of who he is, and he fully embraces it as his new skin.
Nemesis: Dr. Raymond
Reason(For Being Nemesis): He's the one that figured out how to hurt and even kill his Wraiths. Steven was angered beyond belief during the torture sessions of his friends, and swore vengeance against him. This was also the man who murdered a Ghoul in front of Steven's own eyes, forcing him to watch as it slowly bled to death.
