How can I make a good rp?

Well, the first part is planning some of it out. Make sure you have an idea of the kind of world you are running, what a rough outline of the plot is, etc.
Next you want to make sure it's a theme you enjoy. If the person running the game doesn't care for it, the players won't care for it. You have to remember that you are a storyteller for your players.
Finally you have to be consistent. Make sure you have a set schedule and you and your players are active. You want to have a constant posting schedule or however you want to run the game in order to keep interest among your players. They can leave at any time, so it's up to you to keep them interested.
