Once long ago the land of Spectral held 4 wolf packs and the beliefs they once held can still be felt today. Speaking of the 3 gods we can still worship to this day and the reason we no longer have the rank seer within our pack.
The Wolf God known as Managarm, (Chaser of the moon) : Vanished pack:
Wolf god of Night: This god is determined and has little time to settle disputes among mortal wolves. This god gives out blessings to those who worship him and howl at the moon to give support to him while he chases it. Managarm listens when his mortal wolves pray but rarely can he respond in his relentless hunt of the moon but still he listens and takes pride at his mortal wolves, “We protect our land, we defend each other, for together we are strong. Under Managarm's keen eye.”
Managarm: be determined and conservative. Never take more than your pack will need to survive.
To understand Managarm a wolf will have to follow a determined path and understand Conservation for the entire pack. This god is determined and never relents while chasing the moon. As he expects his followers to never relent in life.

It was said to be a paradise, however once the pack arrived a plague swept the land and killed many wolves from all packs that lived in this land. The alpha at the time of the plague begged the gods in the sky for help so the pack may survive. Only one god listened to his plea and as such blessed that pack so no more wolves fell sick to the plague. This god was Aulkhor. They Followed the rules placed by that godly wolf without question for he was the bringer of light and warmth.
Aulkhor's Rules are as follows:
Rule 1.) only those who pass the trial of Mitne may become Alpha
Rule 2.) Do not over hunt the Territory
Rule 3.) Wolves who visit the peninsula of Faith gain the blessing of Aulkhor
Rule 4.) Defend the lands from evil with your lives
Rule 5.) Protect the weak wolves in the pack
Rule 6.) Each pack member must visit Sacred Ash volcano at least once.
Rule 7.) Each pup will Journey to Death valley and bring back a bone from a ancestor before given a rank in the pack
Trial of Mitne:
Wolves aging one and a half to two years are to gather under the Alpha's orders at the Dark forest for the gathering of lights. The rest of the pack will gather in the shadows around them.
Both alpha's will Summon forth with a howl the god wolf they worship, lights of the suns rays will shine down through the trees and choose challengers from both genders. These Challengers will be the ones to join the Mitne trail. Any wolves not chosen must step back returning to the pack in the shadows and wait for the ceremony to end. The Alpha's will tell the Challengers what they will be hunting for the pack and it is to began the next morning.
The chosen have 4 days to track hunt and kill the prey. Then the lead wolf of the Mitne will order one of the wolves back to the pack and report the kill and bring them to the kill. The rest of the chosen are to remain with the kill and defend it from scavengers until the pack arrives.
If the Hunt should fail the Alpha's will choose the next alpha either on their deathbed or right before their death. The alpha's will only choose from the chosen wolves from the Gathering of lights.
If the alpha's should both die before choosing a new alpha the responsibility will fall to the Beta's. at this time the Beta's are to seek Aulkhor's guidance along with the Seers before they may choose a new alpha.

Wolf god of Earth: This god knows without death nothing can survive. Being the god of the earth when life is given life must also be taken. This god also listens to the prayer each of his pack gives when they make a kill. “in death, life continues”

To follow Vanagandr's wishes a wolf will have to know:

Ancient Pack 9 Trials of Maekrix
1.) Feed the Chi and Psi wolves for three weeks.
2.) Kill a threat to the pack and place it's body on a ant hill until it is nothing but bones
3.) Take the bones from the ant hill and find a usefulness for them, by breaking burring or what ever may help the pack.
4.) Venture into the Caves of Death and spend nine nights within without taking any food or water.
5.) Must eat an entire doe's unborn fawn
6.) fight with all rival wolves who completed the first five trials -Death is not required-
7.) Venture into a Rival pack's territory and steal a pup from them to bring back to Ancient pack and raise so this pup may know Vanagandr's ways and survive.
8.) A dream from Vanagandr will tell you what to do for this Trial. some may never get a dream
9.) Face the current beta of the pack in a challenge to prove you are ready to face the alpha -Death is not required-
After these trials you are a Challenger to the alpha of your gender. If the alpha challenges you you have to accept if you challenge the alpha they must accept. this is a death match only one may survive.
Each of these Gods have set rules for Guidance in the packs they bless. How ever Each pack believes the way they worship their god is right and that the other packs worship weaker gods. And this caused strife and the down fall of the three packs.
A long war eventually started and nearly every pack was destroyed in the process. The fourth pack, Our pack remained we brought in those from the other three as they were defeated or chased out. Our leader at the time didn't care that they were rivals all our leader cared about was preserving the lives that had been so distraught by the actions of alphas who leaned to heavily spiritual advisors.
Our leader spoke to his Seer and learned of the plight the other packs were going through and how each of the packs seers had lead the leaders astray. Now our leader was brave to defy the gods so he put in place a pack law that would drive a wedge between seer's and the alpha's of any given pack.
New law of the pack:
“A Seer could no longer interpret what a god meant through visions, omens or actions, This was now for each wolf to determine on their own. “
Many winters have passed since the war of the wolves and only our pack now remains in these lands. We tell the stories of some of our ancestors so we may never share the same mistakes. We honor all wolves of our pack, and those who show respect for our territory are not attacked.
Although some of the trials and rules from the gods above are part of our pack we do not enforce the spiritual side any longer only the actions a wolf may do maybe punished by the Alpha's beta's or high ranking wolves.
