I'd like to congratulate everyone for their brilliant attitude, we've had no trouble so far besides a few minor, not even worth of a direct mention incidents that were solved on the spot and caused no discourse.

We're about halfway through the first chapter of the roleplay, which is the shortest, serving as a starter, prologue or introduction.

After a couple more posts, all of your characters will move on with the NPC counselors to do arts and crafts, and from there we will timeskip until it's night time. The next scene will be opened/started by one of the GM's and basically the players will have dinner and enjoy some free time without direct supervision around the fire to do whatever they please. Take this as bonding time, letting the characters interact a bit. =)

After this dinner and bonding time the first chapter will be over and we'll enter the second in the morning!, more announcements will be made when this is happening.

After seeing how the roleplay advances with the post order, I've decided it was a test, so we wont be using it anymore from now on or until new notice.

MONSTER UPDATE

295pbpc.png

Name: Four Needles Under Plentiful Leaves. (FNUPL)
Age: N/A
Sex/genders: N/A
Species: Goop
Subspecies: Shepherd
Relevant Info.:

Goop monsters are known to live in groups. Depending on their subspecies they can be highly social or not so much but regardless of it they aren't found alone so far. And if they are it's only while searching for a pond to taint so they can raise their family group. For a pond to become tainted, a goop must slide inside it and stay submerged for a week straight. After that, the pond is considered "Fertile" And other goops can emerge from it. The two kind of goops that are known to usually come from these ponds are Pups and Shepherds.
For a Shepherd to be made in a tainted pond, an already adult Shepherd must sacrifice one of it's purple orbs that are considered to be eyes into it. These never grow back. For a new Shepherd to emerge the purple orb must remain deep inside the pond for 10 days, after that a smaller, 5 feet tall Shepherd will come out. They usually take between 3 and 5 months to reach their full height at 10 feet.
After being observed staring into each others orbs, possibly eyes, for hours straight, it is believed they might communicate telepathically.
Several experiments and accidental human contact have revealed that Goop Shepherds are not hostile unless constantly pestered and provoked. However, the Shepherds cannot be exterminated in any known way. It's been thoroughly tested.
Even though their usual movement is slow and relaxed, mostly when they are moving on two legs, they've been reported to run or move suddenly and alarmingly fast when interested.
Depending on their place of origin they present different colors and body vicosity. Going from pitch black with coloured orb eyes in dense forest areas, to an ever changing tone of blue or different shades of brown and reds. The orbs can be used to identify what Goops have generated others. Each orb color has never been reported twice
Individuals lacking one orb have reproduced by pond, individuals with two orbs have yet to generate any shephard descendence.

CONGRATULATIONS

Congratulations to all of you who made it to the second part of this roleplay, I hope you enjoyed our prelude to the main focus of the story!
This part is incredibly important to decide the outcome, that is, whether your character survives... or not. In the morning of the second day the campers got a warning, Hroth, Hope and Sunshine are already dead; you could be the next one!.

Be aware that during this part of the story you could be attacked by monsters. After a post notifies you of this fact you will have three rounds before the attack might come, or not.

What is a round, you might ask?.
A round is when everyone that actively participates in the roleplay posts once. When everyone has posted three times, it’s three rounds. This doesn’t and won’t necessarily apply until you are actively involved in a fight to avoid two or three people quick posting and not giving others time to react. However, as this is meant to be a rather quick part, if someone fails to post for a week straight without warning the GMs first, that person will start being skipped until they post again, and if 4 days happen without news after a whole week has passed without having news from them they will be kicked from the roleplay and their character will become a NPC.
Whenever we start a fight everyone will be notified and the round system will begin.

To make things clear, during part 1 you couldn’t die unless you did something out of the ordinary, such as running into the forest at night. However, during part 2 death is possible at all times, day and night, in and out of the bungalows unless you create a safe space in which case the characters will be safe as long as they stay inside it and it is sealed. No, simple walls wouldn’t stop a monster.

Listen to those with experience and remember some old stories might be partially true.

Good luck everybody!, may you survive until the next part of the story.<3

The title is yours.
Whenever you and whoever else dies can come back to the story you'll be notified.l, btw. Here.

Name: It is unknown if they have particular names.
sex/gender: N/A
species: Goop
subspecies: Pup
relevant info.:

Goop puppies can be created by a Goop Shepherd every eight hours from a tainted pond, they do not have eyes and are in fact blind, managing to get around by echolocation. They let out horribly disturbing screams that help them get around with their massive mouths open, ready to snap shut.
They do not have teeth, but an incredibly strong power in their jaws, meaning if they trap you with them you can say goodbye to the world, or lose a limb. However, their opening power isn't that strong, like in alligators and crocodiles cases, keeping their mouths shut with a couple of belts should work if they didn't slide off because of the slimy texture.

It is unknown if they have their own mind or if they are controlled by the Goop Shepherds, however, it is believed that they share a mental link and serve as their dogs or guardians, as in the wild, goop puppies will hunt and protect goop shepherds. They travel in groups of 15 to 30 individuals along with 1-4 shepherds.

Their height is 4,7 feet.

They are known to commit suicide by simply dissolving into inert goop piles if found themselves trapped and unable to escape for several hours. However, they will attract other goops before that, with incessant screaming.

sadly, and after inactivity plus thinking on it, we're gonna close down. However, this isn't the end of Monster camp!, it's only a hopefully short Hiatus to think things better and prepare to give an even better experience when we're ready to tell a story in a more attractive way for our players and participants. It's been amazing while it lasted and i'll be looking forwards to see you in the second summer camp!, thank you all for sticking with us and if any of you have some constructive criticism or are willing to collaborate/help out with ideas or plots for the re-opening, please pm me, Machina Somnium here or in STC.
