Chronicles of The Omniverse Archived Naaz's Characters

Naaz

I'm the goddamn hero
Name: Drifting Death. In his home plane, he was the only dragon he knew of, and he didn't view names as important. This name is one given to him by those he terrorised. If asked for a name on Aelora, he will tell them "Sikukar". This is a butchered version of the foul-tongue word for dragon, a language used by the worlocks of his home plane, a language impronouncable by mortals.

Species: Dragon

Age: In the universe where Silukar comes from, dragons are not born, but made, from incredibly high concentrations of magic, swirling in the sky. He himself was made from a storm that created a continent, a vast expanse of land, covering half the planet, when the world was still young.

Appearance: Silukar is a strange creature, mostly because he looks dead. If one was to see him from a distance, it would seem like he was a pile of bones, some mighty beast that succumbed to death. That, however, is not the case. While it may seem like he is an animated skeleton, there is in fact a layer of scales, translucent to the mortal eye. If one concentrated, they would see it. These scales are as hard as diamond, almost unbreakable, and protect him from mortal weapons, and some magics.

Because of his transparent scales, in the middle of his chest, his heart is visable. It is not a living organ that pumps blood around his body, but rather, a collection of extremely volatile magic, constantly swirling and flaring. This magic is usually a bright blue, but does change depending on the health of Silukar.

Abilities: Because he is a dragon, Silukar can fly, obviously. While doing this, he can remain incredibly quiet, hence the name from his home plane: Drifting Death. His primary weapon is his fire, a great plume of blue flame, hotter than anything a mortal could make.

History: Silukar comes from another realm, and was sent to this one by a group of warlocks, who tired of his destruction. They chained him down with magic, and banished him using the same kind of wizardry that formed him. He remembers little of what he did in the other world, only that he would raze cities, and destroy villages. Since being in Aelora, all he has done is sleep, in a near death state, covered by greenery and animals.

I would put a personality, but I prefer to play first, and fill that in around what I've reolpelayed so far.

Name: Tzaan. He usually takes the last name of his master, but when he doesn't have a master, takes no last name

Species: Djinn

Appearance: Being a djinn, Tzaan is capable of taking many forms, which is one type of magic that he excels at. However, his most common forms are that a human, which most masters require him to take because they find his other guises to disturbing, or a white fox, which was one requested long ago, but he likes, and keeps using.

The human form is has eyes a sickly yellow, something common across across all his forms, a kind of rebellion towards the physical plane. His hair is sandy coloured, cut short so as not to obscure his view, but usually covered by a scarf, wrapped around his head to cover his features. If not requested to dress in any particular manner, he usually wears an item similar to a trench coat, the tails touching the floor.

The fox is exactly as it seems: a pure white fox, about the size of a wolf, but tenfold more vicious.

Abilities: Tzaan's magic is wide and varied. While his most accomplished magic is shape shifting, and the benefits it brings he is capable of other minor illusions: fire, sounds, lights, and changing how other, small things, look. His magic is limited however: he has a reservoir of magic and the more he uses, the more depleted it gets. He gets agitated and angry, and snappy towards people, despite any consequences.

Another type of magic bound to Tzaan, but not one controlled by him, is his ability to be bound to someone. He is from a different world, a world where reality is nothing, and chaos is the order. Nothing has a form, and everything is truly free. Tzaan was summoned to Aelora many years ago, but instead of releasing him when his task was done, she bound him to a small glass cube, not allowing him to leave this plane. She is long dead, but Tzaan lives on, wandering around and finding things out about mortals, who interest him greatly. However, should someone get the cube, which Tzaan keeps attached to his waist, they would have control over him, able to command him in tasks. Unlike his more powerful brethren, the ifrits and marids, Tzaan is incapable of granting wishes, his magic will not allow him to do so, he merely completes challenges given to him. Tzaan is also susceptible to summoning or binding magics.

History: Tzaan's history is an uneventful one: he was summoned into existence by a sorceress, and become a trusted servant, so much that she decided he would never leave her side. Unfortunately, she failed to achieve her dream of immortality, but Tzaan was bound to this world forever, to wander for eternity, serving an endless line of masters.

Name: Leo Decirne

Species: Ghoul

Age: Appears to be around his early twenties, but has one of those faces that could pass for a lot of ages.

Appearance: Leo, first and foremost, is dead. As such, he has a few identifying features. The main one are the black veins that criss-cross the left side of his neck, centering on a black mark, looking like a burn. While he finds this difficult to hide, it can be done. In the earlier days, he would wear a scarf, or a high collared jacket, but these looked to strange, too suspicious. Over time, he learnt to hide it completely, but they can appear when he isn't concentrating, or when under stress. The second of his features is his eyes. They appear as black orbs, completely blank. Again, he can hide these, but they appear really tricker, requiring concentration. Usually, he wears dark glasses to get around this.

As for his general appearance, his hair is a dark brown, cut short so it doesn't obscure his view, and is generally accompanied by a wide brim hat. This sums up his appearance - a sort of laid back attitude to his life, or death. He dresses smart, in leather gear, with his arms exposed. This is a preference of his, he prefers his appendages to be free.

Abilities: Leo's abilities are generally based around the fact that he's dead. Because of that fact, he doesn't feel pain, or attitudes least, not from physical sources, such as knives or falling. Magic that causes pain directly is still felt though. The lack of pain essentially means he can run forever as well, the fact he doesn't have to breathe enabling him to stay in aerobic respiration. Some times though, his being dead is disadvantageous: his heart doesn't beat, which can be awkward, and as a result, blood doesn't leak from wounds.

History: Leo has always been a part of law enforcement, and likes his job, even if he goes about it in unorthodox methods somethings. He's been a ghoul for a very long time, which has meant he's had to move around to avoid suspicion surrounding his age, seeing as he doesn't age at all.
