Dream as if you were dying.
There was so much of it. Just laying around waiting tantalizingly for someone to just take it and devour it. The sweet scent caused a purr to rumble through his slim chest as he moved further into the tea shop of the cafeteria. Cases of various types of treats could be found lining the length of the counter with advertisements for certain drinks and desserts they served.
The lithe being slipped up to the glass covered displays as they noticed no one was around. Another purring sound slipped from them as they gazed upon treats unlike any they had ever seen. Tiny round balls of varying frosted colors were pilled in pyramids within the display. Even this close Sabra Anubis could feel the cold that rose from the structure without need to touch it. A banner across the top of the case read 'Mochi' while little card in front of each plate read flavors. Some he had never even heard of.
"Red bean," He murmured softly. His voice was soft while being too low for woman's voice but still seemed too high to be a man's. Large violet eyes stared from a slender face framed in layered black hair. At the crown two toughs seemed to defy gravity and fanned up like ears to the sides of his head. They were dressed in their normal attire of skin tight black shirt that showed off far more skin than it hid and baggy knee length pants. A collar of gold was wrapped around his neck with a sunburst and ruby drop hanging from it. A belt of similar design was coiled around his hips, "Strawberry, too..."
His gaze lifted as someone appeared to take his request, "Peppermint tea and two of both the red bean and strawberry, please."
Perhaps coming to this place wouldn't be as bad as he had originally thought. His nightmare the other night might as well have been nothing more than a passing memory he thought as he watched the lady behind the counter get what he requested. His surprise was peaked by the way she quartered that mochi before placing it into a glass bowl then handed it to him on a tray with a small pot of tea. Carefully he carried it to a corner so he could eat alone and in peace.
Pouring the tea into the small cup that matched pot he smiled as the scent reminded him a little of home. His master had loved peppermint. A smile crossed his lips as he settle down to eat his meal, "Asante kwa chakula hiki, Anubis."(Thank you for this meal, Anubis.)
