Description: A war room located within the Headquarters (Pentagon) that has a fully functional and open radio transmission that is used to keep in contact with anyone of relevance. This room acts as a bunker or safe room that is nearly impenetrable; unfortunately, supplies are low, and a force could only manage to occupy it for so long before facing starvation.

Caius Septimius Leonius, as played by Meliodas

The day was finally coming to a close, yet Caius knew an even longer night was before him. He rarely found the time to sleep, only catching a few hours in-between managing the various forces spread out across the region. Just at the Pentagon alone they were about forty or so strong, and that didn’t include civilians. There were snipers on the roof, patrols walking the outer grounds and monitoring the inner corridors; this didn’t include the various other forces they had spread across Arlington, manning bridges and keeping a close eye on the borders they shared with No Man’s Land. They even had a small detachment in a city just north of them. There was hardly a corner or crevice in all of the West that wasn’t watched. It was a vast area to maintain, especially when accounting for the constant changing of the guard. Caius roughly had over one hundred and twenty bodies to keep his thumb on, and another hundred or so hanging around that simply made sure food and medical attention were available.

Just as Caius was about to try and call it a night, he heard chatter over the radio about a potential sighting of a figure skirting along the outskirts of the Pentagon. Fortunately, it didn’t sound as if they were up to no good, so Caius just made sure that they kept a sniper trained on the area in the case there was any suspicious or hostile behavior. It would be handled in the morning if they hadn’t wandered off by then. Meanwhile, Caius mulled over the time, knowing that the courier he sent to the East should be arriving at any hour pending whether they ran into any trouble. They had sensitive information Ulric wanted to be sure reached the ear of their leader, Jacob. It was just over a week ago that they found one of their men half-dead in No Man’s Land. A curious thing.

“Wake me up if anything changes. And someone let Adem know that I want to see him at first light.” Mumbling to one officer or another that was in the command center, Caius broke to his room where he would prepare for just another day in paradise.
