DarkyTwist

A Walking Enigma
Dionysus

Hair of wine-red, falling like the waterfall’s

Rushing stream. Ravenous eyes alight with

Something luring them to these grand halls

Made of marbled, polished diamond and gold.

Seeking His contently willing prey, He

Draws His tongue across His pearly fangs bold.

Wine in the goblet lifts to The Heavens.

“Join me here by My throne, and celebrate.”

He drinks and lifts his fingers with a beckon

The thickly sweet liquid, like ambrosia,

Slips down His throat, and spills from His mouth.

They drink sweetness from His lips, Dionysia,

The festival of love and lust and drink.

Dionysus with ivy crown.
