but I don't have the privilege to post in "Approved" areas, despite having my approval trophy badge thing. Help?
 
Yeah, this is a known bug that got introduced months ago. Every account created prior to its introduction gets hit with it once, the first time they log on. Since you haven't been on a while, you hadn't gotten hit with it yet. We slightly modified the criteria for the system to flag peoples accounts for review. And instead of ignoring accounts already approved, it started rechecking them all, and then putting them back into the review group to be reviewed again.

Anyways, I'll have you fixed momentarily.
 
Okay you should be good to go. It's a one-time thing, so shouldn't happen again.
