Bug Reached the limit for conversation messages?

Howdy! I don't know if this has been addressed somewhere (I tried to poke around on-site and on the discord server), but I'm unable to send direct messages. On message chains, I get the text, "You have reached the limit (1) for conversation messages." at the bottom of the thread with a "100%" bar. If I hit the option for "Start a New Conversation" underneath the envelope on the top bar, I receive the same text with no ability to send a message to a single soul. It's pretty weird. I don't know if this is a problem everyone is having or not. I've not received any new DMs, but I also don't know if any have been sent. I'm still able to post in threads.

I am having the same issue, and I was just considering making a comment on here. Is it a part of the new update?
 
This is a bug. We will have it fixed shortly. Apologies for the inconvenience.
