History: Born and raised in the island town of Dewford, Thomas had dreamed of leaving the town since he was a little kid. Naturally gifted with the ability to have Pokemon trust him near instantly, he would often wander around in the local cave systems to play with the wild Aron, Zoobat, Makuhita and (sometimes) even the Abra (Much to his parents distress). It was in the middle of one such adventure that he stumbled across the local Gym Leader, Brawly, who quickly recognised the child's potential and began to train him in the way of being a Pokemon trainer after managing to convince Thomas' parents. It was under Brawly's instruction that Thomas captured his first Pokemon, a Makuhita that had long been Thomas' best friend. He would continue to be trained until years later, at the age of 12, when he finally achieved his dream when, with the aid of Brawly, he convinced his parents to allow him to go off on his own adventure.
Waving off his family and tutor as he boarded the ship to leave the island, Thomas spent the next two years travelling the Hoenn region, collecting badges and experience before finally challenging the Elite four, to varying degrees of success. After the fifth time he got his ass kicked by the best trainers in the region he finally gave up, bought a ticket to Johto and has spent the past three years travelling each and every region with his team.
Appearance:
Personality: Thomas is loud, boisterous, confident and outgoing. Nearly always the centre of attention in any room he's in, Thomas is one to make himself known to any person nearby. Thomas is one of those people who seem to have no barrier between their mouths and their brains, often saying whatever happens to pop into his thoughts (This is most likely a by-product of training with his hero Brawly). However, Thomas is also stubborn and brash, with a tendency to not think things through and go after a goal without having all the details first. Should he decide upon an action, often an impulsive an potentially damaging one, it is very hard to dissuade him from it. Thomas is quite confident in his physical ability, often joining his Pokemon during wild battles and employing what he learnt while under the fighting Gym Leader's tutelage.
