General storyline:
Romance, fantasy (elves, magic, dragons (httyd type dragon, not the ones that want to destroy everything.) Ect.).
Yes there is some polyamory going on for the main romantic couple/throuple, and yes it is also a lesbian romance.
The Queen is a single ruler watching among her kingdom. She is powerful yet dainty. Many want to marry her, either for power or for money, however she wants to know that whoever she marries is able to face the heat of battle, as well as helping her with relaxing after.
The Guard, born of norse heritage, and being part chimera, has learned that being different is the best way to be. She had caught the Queen's eye quickly during her work in the village before promoting her.

The Bard, being a dragonborne and being as good with the lyre as she was, had also caught the eye of both the guard and the Queen, being able to fight, yet make a lion purr like a kitten with her enchanting abilities.
