YUM YUMS FOR MY TUM TUMS!

Drakel

Your greedy little Jewgon!
So, has anyone cooked anything good lately? Have you made something that looks so good that you can't help but share to the world? Got yourself a big bowl of diabetes and couldn't help but take a picture of it so you can remember it for all eternity? Have an AMAZING recipe that you want everyone to have a taste with?

All of the above?

Well then this is the place for you. Share you recipes, describe what you're eating and show everyone the mouth watering photos of the delicious meals you have and that you made. We all love looking at some good food porn after all. And this is the place for it. ^^

I don't have any pictures, but one thing that I love cooking up (if you have a slow cooker) is chicken breasts with a little bit of garlic, truffle oil, and green peppers. Cook that bitch for four hours (not any longer because it'll start to feel like paste on your teeth) and serve with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Fuckin' sweet.

I have a couple. You'll probably want to take notes, because they can get complicated.

Recipe One: The Bread And Butter* (*no butter actually involved)
Breadx2
Mayo
Mustard
Presliced Cheddar
Presliced Havarti
Presliced Ham (of choice)

Recipe Two: Wash It Down
2x Banana
1 Cup of Frozen Berry Mix (of choice)
1.5 Cups of Orange Juice
Blender

There, my secret pro chef recipes. Go wow your friends and coworkers with these culinary masterpieces that make up 80% of my meals.

Oh man, no lettuce in there? Don't you find that the meat and cheese and bread kinda stick together on the roof of your mouth?

I used to use lettuce, back in my naive youth. But with every purchase of the mixed greens, there was a 40% chance half of them would be damp and wilted. A disgusting slurry to force upon my delicate sensibilities.

I'm a simple man with simple tastes.

Poutine: Frenchies, Gravy, Shredded Cheese (I'd get the curds, but enough for a whole package of french fries is expensive, as, hell)
Pasta: Noodley Pasta, Alfredo Garlic Sauce, Seafood Crab Meat (when available)

Those are my main two meals (that aren't just leave it in the oven and then eat as is).

But there's two others that not so... normal.

Crackers, Pickles and Cheese
As simple as it sounds, get a Ritz cracker, put a slice of chedder cheese (cut from a block) on top, and then a slice of pickle. It's a simple combo with a surprising amount of synergy.

Chicken Nachos
This one involves a lot of manual work and time in exchange for the quantity you get, but the taste, is, worth it!
  1. Place nacho chips onto an oven tray
  2. Put some refried beans on top of each nacho chip
  3. Mix some chicken with BBQ sauce
  4. Put said chicken on top of the refried beans
  5. Put a slice of Mozerlla cheese on top of the chicken
  6. Leave on broil in the oven for about 2-3 minutes
  7. Apply Sour Cream and enjoy
That might not look like a lot of effort, but remember you're manually applying the beans, chicken and cheese to each individual nacho. So although it is rather simple and easy to do, it is time consuming.

I favor mix and matching classic dishes when it comes to preparing food for myself.

On a windy movie nite - where the stress of making an intricate gourmet meal myself can detract from enjoying my movie - I would rather come up with something I can reliably make, with an added spin.

A few hybrids are:

• Ramon noodles with Velveeta cheese topped with flash steamed broccoli rosettes and crinkled beacon.

I know Ramon noodles aren't for everyone but that's not the case for me. This combo quakes my movie-nite world.

•Home-made pizza with a thin, crispy crust, with alfredo sauce, mozzarella for cheese, sprinkled with lemon-pepper and dill, coated with spinach, and topped with Cajun spiced breaded fried chicken or (perhaps my personal acquired taste) separately prepared breaded fried calamari.

I do enjoy a home-made pizza, since I can have control over the kind of crust of the pie and the amount and type of suace, not to mention the seasoning and choice of meat which go on it.

•Seafood roll dip and Lay's or Ruffles Original Wavy/Ruffled chips.

I enjoy seafood roll subs. Adding the seafood part as a dip for potato chips takes it to an all new, fun level.
