Over that ridge,” Picard pointed. “If we can destroy what is blocking the signal we can contact the Enterprise for extraction. We need to act quickly. Who knows what the others are up to.”
"Duly noted. Let us make haste," Yamato finished finalizing his current skill set for what is to come, hoping that his own attacks will bring down the target quickly and help prevent any outnumbering, especially with the Commander being at risk. He allowed Picard to lead him to the targeted location, the paper Demon ready to escort him while Yamato positioned himself to secure his behind.

As they tried to leave however the door behind them slammed shut. The Doctor pulled out the screwdriver and tried to open it. “Seems like the defenses are now active,” Instead of panicking more however she instead turned to face the Cyberman. “How are you here? You’re not natives to this universe.”
The Cyberman was quiet for a moment as if processing the question. “WE-WERE-LEAD-HERE,” Its voice had an electronic tinge with booming bass. “TO-ASSIMILATE-CREATURES-”
“Like you,” The Doctor remarked sadly.
“LIKE-ME.”
The rest of the group now started to realize what the Doctor was talking about. “It was you wasn’t it? You and your excavation crew that awoke the Cybermen?”
“CORRECT. WE-WERE-CAPTURED-AND-ELEVATED.” The fate of the crew and why they hadn’t been reporting back was now evident. They had been captured and turned into these mechanical monstrosities.
As this was going on the door behind them opened up revealing a bunch of the Cybermen. Some of them looked as pristine as the one they had been speaking to. While others were covered with rust and seemed to be disrepair. “NOW-YOU-WILL-JOIN-US. YOU-WILL-BE-ASSIMLATED.”
Seemed like they were trapped. The Doctor looked between them. “We need to get out of here or we’re going to end up as the crew. We have to bust through that door. Those that can’t defend themselves. Stay behind me. Sadly, we have a fight on our hands.”

Though Miguel was admittedly disturbed by the idea of the excavation team unwillingly having their very humanity being torn away from them and becoming these mechanical soldiers, he did his best not to show it. Moments like this, he was certainly glad how well his mask obscured his features. The hero certainly had no intent of becoming like one of these so-called Cybermen, and he'd do everything in his power to make sure that fate didn't befall anyone else in the little party here either.
"Just leave it to me, Doc! I've faced worse than these creeps!" He went on, deciding to take the initiative before spinning a web with a sharp THWIP sound that clung around the first Cyberman's leg. With a display of his mighty strength, Miguel yanked on the web to topple the Cyberman over before swinging him around, hoping to send him crashing into the other horde of cyborgs to disorient them, if nothing else!
"Tch! Like hell we'd join you." Kiba ground out angrily, a growl entering his tone. It made sense, why they smelled almost human. It was almost sad really.
If Miguel's initial attack worked, and any Cybermen were still standing, Kiba would charge them in a blur of snarling white fur and slam into them with a majority of his weight and strength in an attempt to topple the rest over in a domino effect.
From there, he jumped back, landing beside Five with bared fangs and a low growl emitting from deep in his chest if any of the Cybermen were still standing, and to get out if the way of any other attacks from any of the others.

It wasn't often someone went in for a battle of strength with a Cyberman and hope to win, but as the Cyberman was lifted off the air and flung hard at the ones at the door it seemed like Miguel had the upper hand. While his attack had managed to down two of the ones guarding the door the others behind were not sitting back idly and raised their arms and opened fire at the group.
Or that had been the plan if Kiba hadn't leaped in for an assist causing the others to stumble backward enough for their shots to miss entirely.
"Got any gold on ya?" The Doctor asked. "Clogs up their respiratory system something fierce! Though I'm not quite sure which Cyberman these are even...either way, that little gun of yours might as well be a peashooter. Trust me when I say the Cyberman are creations of destruction." Five however as he looked around the room couldn't find anything useful in a fight. "I still say we should just try and escape," The Doctor remarked. "We just got to get them outta the way somehow before they really get serious."
As the Cybermen's aim was disrupted by Kiba's assistance, Miguel used his superior agility to evade any stray lucky shots that might have otherwise come close to grazing him, eventually latching onto the wall opposite the Cybermen. At the increasingly urgent notion of them needing to get out of here, the webhead snapped his fingers enthusiastically.
"Clearing a crowd? All you need ta' do is say the word, Doc!" He exclaimed, before shooting out a web at the ceiling. With his hand still gripping the web, Miguel kicked off the wall and swung forward with his legs out, hoping to kick through the Cybermen like a bowling ball through a pair of defenseless pins in hopes of clearing the way for everyone!

The giant eight-headed serpent that Yamato summoned and positioned directly in front of the tower appeared to rival the trees in height, probably even threatening the tower and the mechanical guards by its sheer size and spontaneous appearance. The Orochi headed to the spire, casting Power Charge upon itself and picking up Yamato with its tail so he could take a ride and gain an advantage. Yamato seems to be charging a powerful spell as he was swiftly guided to one of its heads.
Meanwhile, beside Commander Picard, Shiki-Ouji raised its arms and muttered a spell that caused what appeared to be strips of paper to emerge from its appendages.

After Shiki-Ouji finished muttering, he commanded the strips of paper to charge at the metallic humanoids and bind their limbs together, hoping that this will prevent them from moving for a while and possibly negate any potential retaliation altogether.

Turning his head to the other path, Kiba tried to see if he could get a scent from the unfamiliar path, to at least know if there were any Cybermen or anything else down into the unknown. If not, he'd let the group know.

The Orochi responded by charging its power once more and lashing out with a physical attack.

Just behind the two and right beside Picard, Shiki-Ouji looked around for any enemy reinforcements that he could bind with paper, surrounding Picard and itself with a Tetrakarn-casted barrier as a precautionary measure.

At another fork in the road, they turned left and then right before finding a dubious-looking door that the Doctor opened with the sonic screwdriver. Now one had seemed to catch up to them just yet. "Since I now know where we are I figured we'd take a quick visit to their surveillance room." Inside the group found everything you'd need to keep logs on a ship. With the trusty sonic screwdriver in their hands, the Doctor started to trace it over some of the equipment. "We're not staying long, just gonna try and find some data about how and why this Cyberman ship ended up here. They don't have this kind of technology. Not to mention that they seemed to have been here for a very long time aswell."

Shiki-Ouji only nodded in silence as he examined the burn marks the laser left in its paper flesh before being returned into his device. Whatever is attacking their comrades at the distance, he believes that those things are most likely using energy-based attacks. He held on to this notion as he followed behind Picard alongside the serpentine demon.
Eventually, Yamato would see Data and those accompaniying him being pursued by entities that appear to be the disembodied heads of the humanoid robots he previously faced. He stood on guard and used the demon summoning app to summon the demon that will take Shiki-Ouji's place, confident that his own current skill-set and the presence of the Orochi is just enough to support it.

Yamato decided to mentally assess the situation before him as quickly as possible before acting, trying to see a proper window for executing a swift and brutal coordinated attack with his Demons.
Batgirl, who for some reason was always there, but hadn't spoken or meanfully interacted with anyone since she arrived - prefering instead to keep to the shadows decided to mentally access the situation before acting.

"Well, we can ask 'em when we get outta here with our skins intact!" Miguel exclaimed in response to the Doctor, keeping a wary look for the ever looming Cybermen.
"In the meantime, can't ya go any faster, Doc?! Whatever you're lookin' for here, I sure hope you find it fast!" He said, clenching his fists and preparing to hold off the slowly coming enemies if need be.
While Yamato stood back Batgirl went into action with one of her batarangs hitting one of the heads causing its next attack to go off course causing the ground to explode with debris.
"I have found that they are neutralized by blunt force," Picard remarked to Batgirl as he fired off a phaser blast towards the cyber heads.
"This was not how I envisioned it. Fighting heads. It is a downgrade, yes?" Death's Head lamented firing off another shot from his blaster.
Yamato would notice that the cyber heads were in tight formation and they would have a hard time avoiding a large sweeping attack.
"Sorry. Sorry! I am just about..." The screwdriver whirred shut and the Doctor got a smile on her face. "Done! Alright! Let's get outta here!" Not a moment too soon either it sounded like the Cybermen were just around the corner. The corridor up ahead was silent of any heavy stomping for the group to continue on if they wished to avoid the fight.
