flat characters is usually what kills it for me. its hard to get invested when theres no depth to be found. this is usually in the form of mary sues/gary stus

if youre lookin for light humor, lego batman was pretty good. logan is an obvious choice, resident evil did well overseas, get out did well too. theres been a good amount of films thats been coming out recently. king kong releases tomaro

for me it always comes down to visuals, and the story. right after that is the world building. world building, arguably, is the most important. the whole point of a game is immersion, and without a great structure, its hard to really forget yourself in a game.
