Reading other people's role-plays help a lot. Loooking at a well painted character art can inspire me to write a well detailed posts.Looking at such art is huge inspirationfor me personally because my usual my own imagination I can create plots for future role-role-plays.

Well its not weird at all. But actually I am quite surprised that people are finding friends through role-playing. I never get close to people that I'm writing with so I guess it's just me.
The sad part is that most of my partners eventually leave suddenly stop messaging me, completely...
I would say magic because is far more flexible and you can get pretty creative, coming up with your fictional magic that is not canon taken from some fandom.

I like doing romance, I guess. But favorite genre is definitely fantasy. I also like slice of life/realistic. Adventures are cool too, especially in exotic genres.
Escaping into another world fiction that I have created with someone else. I like the idea of feeling like a writer that is telling a story but I am co-writing it another person.

Third person, past tense for me as well! It's just easier because I can write my posts like I am some sort of storyteller. I can try my best to describe pretty much anything I want in order to make a detailed expression of the scene.
