Hmm, it's pretty hard to pick only one favorite since I've seen so many amazing works, but I guess my favorite ones would have to be:
Berserk (1997)
Gangsta
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure
Bungou Stray Dogs
One Punch Man
Anyways, I'm very much intrigued by the diverse responses I'm seeing on here. I'm also quite surprised at the amount of similarities I share with all of you.
1. When did you first start roleplaying?
2. How did you find out about rps?
3. Has roleplaying effected your life in any way since you first started?
4. What factors/interests have the biggest influence on your roleplaying/writing style?
5. What aspect(s) of your personality seems to shine...
Interesting things hmm.. well I've made over 100 characters for roleplays in the span of two years, I have over 18 badges and 5 plaques for competitive singing, I'll be meeting the creator of Friday the 13th in May, and I'll have a chance to work on my first film set in California over the summer!

2. Mary-sue characters
3. The character whines/cries/throws a tantrum as their way out of EVERY situation
4. Are given specific...
I agree with that for sure. I prefer rps that really focus on the development of the characters' relationships- whether it be for love, hate, or familial. I think what fascinates me most from rps are all of the different mentalities involved.
I think the weirdest moment for me was when this really young roleplayer I was with had her character waaaaaaaaayyyyy too involved in one of my main characters (if you catch my drift) a few years ago. I have nothing against seducing tactics of characters but the boy I was using was only thirteen...
