New User Followed a Friend

Hey people of storyteller's circle.

I joined your community today for a pretty selfish reason. I won't lie: a good friend of mine wanted to try a new roleplay site and get some new opportunities. This friend has fairly recently came back into my life, and since we first bonded over our passion for writing stories, it was easy to say yes when she asked for me to return to writing after a long time away.

That said, finding the right community is tough. I have liked the welcoming enviornment of this site so far, and I am really hopeful.

Random fact: I used to raise smaller game birds and recently became obsessed with the idea of someday owning an emu or ostrich.

A lot of people here have had breaks from writing before only to leave and come back later after some time off, you're not alone.
Also, as long as you're back in the forum RP field you should be able to Emu-late your dream of owning an Emu! :3

Welcome! I understand the feeling as well, and even though I am too new here to do a whole lot to ease your mind, I will say that everyone has been extremely helpful and patient. It has been great so far!
