Zara's Park Tournament

"No, they just poached an entire herd of Rapidash with a couple young Ponyta. We're trying to stop them." Melissa chimed back in, keeping an eye on her Pikachu as it ran around. "They were really weird. Keep an eye out for them."

Chuck showed a face disbelief. "That's....ok....a bit hard to believe that two people can capture an entire heard of Rapidash. I mean they're really powerful Pokemon plus it's not like they're the slowest of pokemon. You two sure that's what happened? Maybe it's an illusion by a gang of Zorua pulling a prank or something."

"We're pretty sure," Melissa said. "Just keep an eye out. If we're right, they may not stop at poaching. As for the Rapidash, they were slowed down just a bit by the Ponyta." She knelt down to her Pikachu's level and picked her up.

“Yeah, we’re not sure exactly how they managed it either.” Jacob says, rubbing the back of his head. “Wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes. They had these weird... crystal things. They worked like poke balls, but seemed to capture all of the time.” He recalls what he had seen, and his eyes harden a little at the thought.

“As for the zorua thing, really couldn’t be. We battled them, and their Pokémon were legitimate.”

Chuck thinks about it what the two had said, and they seemed genuine enough, but in the end it was a bit too far fetched. Crystal pokeballs, medieval trainers, disappearing herds. It all sounded....phony to him for a lack of a better word.

"Yeah...sorry, but I don't believe a lick of what your say. Can't really say I ever will without actually seeing for myself. Hope you guys understand." Chuck replies.

"Oh, trust me, I do." Melissa assured him. "If I hadn't seen it with my eyes, I don't think I'd have believed it either." She honestly couldn't blame him. Just saying out loud sounded...stupid, or fanciful. No she didn't blame him at all.
