Pretty self explanatory, whose your favorite fictional character? whether from a a novel, movie, comic book, cartoon, manga et cetera

My favorite is Hannibal "the cannibal" Lecter :p
 
An interesting one is Malus Darkblade, a dark elf. War hammer made 5 books about him they are great works of literature, very detailed. He is a dark elf that gets possessed by a demon while trying to obtain an ancient treasure and the demon always talks to him and loans him its strength when he needs it, he is also half prince of dark elves and in a battle for the throne.

Well, I'll sound like a modern one when I say this, but I like Castiel from supernatural, and Alec Lightwood from Shadowhunters/ Mortal instruments.

I rarely see another person who knows about Warhammer! Malus is a pretty cool character.
 
I have two favorite characters. One is slightly less so than the other, but they both remain in my heart and will for years to come.

The slightly less favorite character of mine is Raistlin Majere from the Dragonlance series. He was the first character that I found intriguing and awe inspiring when I first started reading fantasy. Tasslehoff and Fizban are also pretty high on my list, but Raistlin takes the dragon orb wink wink.

My favorite character is Roland Deschain of Gilead, from the Darktower series. Recently I've been reading the books, (I'm currently almost finished with the 3rd one) and he is just such an interesting character. I love characters that have a dark past and a mysterious aura around them, and he fits the bill perfectly. I enjoy how Stephen King paces his development, to keep the reader satisfied with what's given but secretly wanting more and more.
 
I do have more than one:

Luffy (obviously), the goofball but is not afraid to said what he have in mind, nor be direct about this.

Nathan Drake, a simple guy in apparence, yet, manage to survive, also, he can be sarcastic when needed.

Daxter, i miss this ottsel and his comments on each situations, i wish he could be back..

Lazarus Jones: another "normal guy", yet, is send to an affair of murders, until he became a ghost-hunter.

Little hard to narrow it down too just a character you know :p so i will do it like this
Anime: Firo Prochainezo from baccano
Game: This is a tough one, it would either be one of the champs i play in league of legends or Handsome jack from the borderlands series
Tv Show: charlie sheen i used to love watching two and half men
Movies: Captain jack sparrow
Cartoon: the futurama cast :p

and that is best i can narrow it down to asnwer your thread :p
 
My favorite fictional charcater? It has to be Handsome Jack from the Borderlands series. He has amazing quotes, his back story is pretty good, but his personality is just so funny, as this bad guy who is obsessed that he is the good guy. He really adds something, and is the reason why Borderlands 2 is such an amazing game, and does and always will feature on my number 1 spot.

One of my favourites is probably Sohane from 'I Love I Hate I Miss My Sister' by Amélie Sarn, because she just seems like such a human character. Her sister, Djelia, is also a high-ranking character in my mind, but her sister wins out by just a little. Another few favourites is pretty much any character from Bravely Default, or any of the characters from 'Because You'll Never Meet Me' by Leah Thomas. When it comes to favourite characters, I can pretty much never make my mind up.
 
I kinda feel 'interpellated' by this topic since I almost live in my own little fantasy world (ahahh that sounds weird), so inevitably I have many favourite fictional characters. I change from times to times, as for now I really love Noctis and Prompto from Final Fantasy XV. Not only for their appearances (lmaooo that definitely sounded creepy), but for their personality ; I strangely relate to them both a lot.
 
Although not usually a fan of fancition (hah), I recently read "Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality", an alternate version of the cannon Harry Potter universe where the only things changed is that Harry is raised not by the harsh and stupid Dursleys, but by the rational, scientific, and loving Dursleys. It does a great job of addressing the magical world though the lens of the analytical and scientific mind of this Harry. He and this story's version of Quirrel, the smartest character I have seen in all my decades of reading fiction, are my favorites.
 
Ronan Lynch from The Raven Cycles, Karou from Daughter of Smoke and Bone, Jon Snow ASOIAF (GOT), Castiel from supernatural. Geez its way to hard to narrow it down to one or even two. Heh
