Mods/Admins, feel free to smack me if this is considered necroing a thread.
Growing up I had both Digimon/Pokemon on VHS. I've loved both series but dropped off Pokemon after Diamond and Pearl and Digimon after Season 2/where TK's all grown up. I loved Digimon Tri as it felt like a shoutout to...
Hi.
Been quite a while since I've logged in on the site, let alone posted on it. There's a reason for that by the by. I grew up as an adopted child and last october, my adoptive mother passed away. My adoptive and by all means my actual father passed away in 2012. Meaning that last year I've...
I love playing egotistical characters as it's often very fun to detail out them learning they're not the top dog anymore. Examples of this would be Zamasu, Goku Black, and Merged Zamasu(psst they're all the same dude~).
Going to get innately personal here and if that bothers anyone, feel free to ignore my post entirely. The last thing I want is to make someone uncomfortable on a topic as widespread and as close to home to perhaps some people as addiction. To start I'd have to go waaaaay back to when I was born...
Sorry if using this font makes my post difficult to read. It's just a personal aesthetic choice on my part.
Anyhoo, as a fan of horror and science fiction I feel these are the two genres that are most often slapped with remakes and 're-imaginings.' Some better than others, others not even...
Humanity has always wanted to find something to blame tragic events on. It helps people to rationalize and give them a bogeyman to point at and say 'that's what caused all of this!' In some cases if not controlled or talked down/debated, such attitudes can turn from sheer...
Ooh, I'm a bit late in replying to this. But I've got the time so why not.
I personally have no motivation to go out and burn any flags. But I also think it's possible to respect the dead among our military and of all those who serve abroad/have made sacrifices and great strides for our country...
I saw this thread and was hesitant about posting in it. Mainly because I absolutely love my job for the most part. Co workers are nice and everybody appreciates eachother and gets along great. There's occasionally some complaints I overhear but I tend to do my best and keep an optimistic...
I've humored the idea of writing a book or a screenplay.
But my attention span is simply too mangled to the point that I'd never be focused enough to do it. Something like this requires a lot of long-term dedication and trial and error(with getting back drafts from your editors and the like.)...
Yeah, I can get behind something like this.
As long as the person playing the perceived 'OP' character doesn't go out of their way to curbstomp/solo enemies that were clearly intended to be taken on as a group and thus allow everyone in the party to get a crack, then it's all well and good. But...
If somebody can play a character who's usually seen as OP like say Superman or Accelerator in the confines of the RP without ruining the fun for anybody else(say they have their PC wipe out the enemy hordes and so on, that's not any fun. what's left for the others to do? provide moral support...
