Strengths: Very smart and charismatic. Though he might not be able to do something himself, Korso can easily get a group to do it for him.
Weaknesses: His hubris. This is basically his tragic flaw; though Korso is a brilliant leader and strategist, he takes unneeded risks and often feels the consequences, just to prove himself an alpha male.

Physical appearance: He is tall and thin, his skin is pale white with a reddish tone. His face is long and thin, his facial features are well rounded out. He has a pointed chin and a straight jaw.
Usual apparel: He usually wears a dark blue ball cap, a red long-sleeve shirt, faded jeans, and a pair of hiking shoes.

Personality/Attributes

General personality: He is generally warm and friendly, but also quiet and thoughtful. He tends to stare off into space, sometimes completely forgetting what he was supposed to be doing. He jokes around a lot, and is generally optimistic. He is almost always completely absorbed in his work. He is very disorganized, and tends to misplace things. He tends to talk back to his superiors, usually with sarcasm.
Likes:
Coffee. He can be found sipping a cup of black coffee at almost any time of the day.
Books: When he's not working, he's reading. It's one of his favorite ways to pass time.
People: He enjoys being around other people.
Dislikes:
Idling: He doesn't enjoy not doing anything, and tries to keep busy.
Alcohol: He finds any alcoholic beverage disgusting, and is confused as to how anyone could like it.
Unfriendly people: He is usually annoyed by people who are pessimistic/unfriendly, and tends to get mad at them easily.
Goals/Ambitions:
To find other life out there: David believes that there is sentient life on another planet, and refuses to believe otherwise.
To keep the crew safe at all costs: He feels responsible for the whole crews safety, and would do anything to save someone.
Strengths:
Persuasive: David can easily convince someone that something is true, or at least make them doubt their own theory.
Trustworthy: David's bright smile and optimistic outlook on everything make him a trustworthy individual.
Intelligent: He is great at problem solving, and has one of the highest IQ scores of the crew.
Weaknesses:
Bad liar: He is very bad at any sort of lying, or bluffing.
Unpredictable: Sometimes his behavior is erratic and unpredictable. One minute he might be happy, and the next he could be in a total panic.
Overthinking: He tends to overthink simple decisions, and has great difficulty in making them quickly.
Fear:
He is terrified of being alone, and just the thought of it is terrifying to him.
Hobbies:
He enjoys computer programming, and puts a lot of his time into it. He is very skilled at it, and has fun doing it.

He is completely uninterested in any sort of 'relationship', and makes this very clear.

Same goes for this btw, if anyone joins and there are no roles left to take and they want perhaps the one you reserve as a secondary role, you may want to give it to them, but its still up to your decision.

Physical Description: In a word? Big. Stands a head taller than most of the crew with an imposingly muscled physique only just starting to suffer from his age. Rounded face with barely visible cheekbones, wrinkled skin beneath eyes and along well developed laugh lines. Chin and jaw line covered by close cut gray beard.
Typical Clothing/Equipment: Wears a simple black uniform of his own design. Appears to be little more than a black t-shirt and matching cargo pants, thought the raised segments of graphene plates across his back and chest suggest a function beyond fashion. Almost always carries a non-lethal sonic pulse weapon in a holster on his right hip.
Personality/Attributes
Personality/Attitude: Donovan has always had a private suspicion that the Core's Enforcer was originally envisioned as a sentient mass of muscle for the higher ups to point at the rest of the crew anytime there was talk of insubordination. Not wanting to indulge such an image, Donovan makes an effort to appear more friendly. He still has to crack down on the occasional work dispute or drunken brawl, but he always makes an effort to keep violence to a minimum. Taking such an approach has forced him to quickly learn to be charismatic as well as intimidating. As far as preventing incidents from breaking out in the first place, there is little he can do beyond leading by example, and hoping to earn the trust of the rest of the crew. Essentially, Donovan strives to be the granddad of the Core.

I would be interested in the part of Robotics Operator if no one else has spoken for it. (Guessing some of the work could be mechanical as well. That seems to go hand in hand with the robotics.)
 
Right, I'll update the posting, but mainly, the skills are just a scale of your character's affinity with it, in case anything occurs during the journey. For example, if the ship is damaged for any reason, a few roles including the robotics operator would have to cooperate to repair anything. Biologists would be more focused on perhaps diseases or alien/unknown lifeforms, etc. Of course the action will be character driven, but there should be room for events to occur, such as outbreaks, asteroids, battles. It is up to the players to determine what will occur, but if nothing happens, I'll try to step in and lend a guiding hand. @w@
