Tonight, we hunt Outsiders!
4760e62d827923106c7401aa0b919835.jpg

Name: Nadine.
Nationality: Russian
Race: Dunwich Hybrid of Yog-Sogoth and Human.
"T'meaning of life, is to find meaning in life."
Occupation: Archivist

Bio: Nadine is a particularly mutated variation of the Dunwich Horror, created in Soviet experiments around the Cold War era. Rescued by the Vatican, rather than be destroyed as some wanted, the Magdalene decided to take her in as one of them, raising her as a human while telling her the truth of her heritage. The end result is a sixty year old creature, with the mentality of a teenager and a rather cheeky sense of humor.
Among the Black Cross, her role is that of Archivist- Dealing with their records as well as identifying magical artifacts, as those prone to affecting the sanity of humans has no effect on her whatsoever.

Powers: She usually wears hooded clothing and other such things to hide her face. Anyone, save very rare few usually see only a blackness and two, yellow eyes that glow. This is a self-defense mechanism to preserve sanity on behalf of human minds and if she wishes, she can drop it to briefly scare or turn folks insane. Whenever she prepares to do so, she yells to alert her allies 'ROLL FOR SAN CHECK!'

Bullets have no effect on her, save in mass quantities though its very painful. She fears fire more than anything, and claims to have a connection to Yog-Sogoth itself and talks to him. What they talk about, is up in the air. The connection however proves very useful, as she has the ability to read and talk in all languages, dead and living which makes her an asset when it comes to acting as a translator. Artifacts such as the Necronomicon ex Mortis that reduce the mental fortitude of its readers has no effect on her. This extends also to Outsider enemies, along with the ability to identify them at a glance. Psychic intrusion has no effect on her whatsoever and attempts to read her result in pain for the one attempting it, though this has only been done by earthly practitioners. She's exceedingly skilled at reading auras however, though beyond that her current psychic potential has been just that. Potential, though perhaps this will change with age.

In the field, she usually likes to tote around a shotgun, as she's uncomfortable with magic. Says it has a weird effect whenever she uses it and would rather rely on something else more dependable.

Trivia
Her favorite food is grilled cheese and tea.
She keeps an octopus in a fish tank, which she calls 'Kraken' in her room.

Personality

A somber, philosophical priest. He views his birth as an oddity and considers his life, penance for what he is. Born a monster, he seeks out other monsters to purge with blessed blade and inward turmoil. His dream is to see innocence before him preserved. His methods as a result, work on the mindset that his own personal safety is always last, compared to those he could save.

History/Bio: There is a legend of a particular school in Romania. A place where only ten students for a span of seven years are chosen, and one sacrificed to its headmaster for the price of power. It was here, that the Impaler came to study and in the modern era, it's ruins were plundered by the Catholic Church.

Many of its artifacts were kept locked away, deemed too dangerous for the world. In the wake after the War of London, the more...Radical factions of Iscariot see otherwise. In secret, they took the dark secrets of that school and with modern medicine performed a feat blasphemous by many standards.

They bred a monster to fight monsters, using artificial insemination but something happened that none forsaw.

The child born was eager to please, listening to stories of the heroes of Christianity. From the Roman martyrs to the modern saints he learned and he questioned the world around him. All the while, he would be trained in secret for the Radicals and their missions. He was undoubtedly a monster, but his mannerism was uncannily human. A sign from God? Or perhaps he was a wolf in sheep's clothing?

Whatever he may be or what he was, his mother loved him and in knowing her love, he retained his humanity once he learned what he was. He is now the shadow of the conservative faction, the Radicals secret weapon. He receives no accolades for what he does. To be found is to die by his allies.

But this is his path. For the sake of others and for that Carpenter who set the standard, he fights.

Powers

Regeneration: Like the fallen Paladin in London, Lucifer likewise can regenerate. However, it's notably weaker due to his humanity. Whereas Anderson could heal from headshots within seconds, Lucifer would require an outside party to remove the bullets first. Limbs would be required to be found and set, to allow flesh and bone to knit back. Poison and disease however, have no effect on him due to this.

Teleportation: Manifesting in the form of a crow swarm, Lucifer can teleport within a hundred meter range. This requires him to know his surroundings, lest he ends up halfway in a wall.

Enhanced Strength/Agility: Strength and Agility on part with MCU Captain America. Powerful enough for humans, against monsters it's much more taxing.

Hypnotism: A talent he's personally uncomfortable with. However, it's undeniably useful for removing eyewitnesses. Has no effect on those with mental protection or strong wills.

Shape-shifting: Capable of transforming into a crow, a rat and a black dog.

Magecraft: Another heresy atop his own personage. The art of Magecraft is varied, but if asked he would deny being a magician. He is simply a person who uses Magecraft to his own ends, studying the work to aid in his battlecraft and hunts.

Runic Lore: As this is a craft that deals with preparation, it has found its advocate in the young Paladin. His two focus are Protection and Fire.

Wall Walking: When he concentrates, he can run on walls. This does not extend to surfaces like glass.

Beast Senses: While not sharing the sheer range a proper vampire would have, his own senses are enough to render him a monster on human scales. The outward evidence of this is in his eyes, which are always the same red coloration. In hunts, he wears colored contacts to pass for human.

Ki Mastery: Due to his intense study of martial arts as well as his own search for balance between man and monster, Lucifer has become a user of his internal energies. While he won't be flinging fireballs or spend episodes on end to channel a beam, this does grant him some aid. Notably, he can 'feel' the aura of people, translated as scents to his mind. He can also expel 'bursts' to empower a blow or speed himself up to make him faster. This is a finite resource, with over usage of his energies rendering him weak and tired until able to rest.

Power limitations: In addition to the limits mentioned with each power, every three days he requires blood plasma to survive. Removal of this wracks him with pain and without a ready source, his body will feast on himself. This may possibly render him a true vampire, but most likely will kill him. He takes his blood plasma in the guise of diabetes shots.

Skills
Magecraft: A
Ki Mastery: A
Bajiquan Martial Arts: B
Mental Resilience: SS
Bayonet Mastery: AS

Weapon(s)/ Equipment.
latest

Blessed Bayonets: Of the type identical to the deceased Paladin Anderson. Comes in a variety of types, from throwaway, mass-produced types to more melee-centric, high craft items.

.50 Caliber Smith and Wesson, with blessed ammo: Completely hopeless with aiming, this is a last-ditch weapon for Paladin Lucifer. The weapon is mostly a ceremonial piece as a result.

Shroud of Saint Giles: The greatest feat of Magecraft accomplished by Paladin Lucifer yet. Named after the patron saint of Lepers and Outcasts, the Shroud is covered in repeated runes of protection. Intermeshing, one with the other they create a repeated protective force that redirects blunt trauma and other physical blows through the legs of its wearer into the ground. This has a threshold however, and it's material is still cloth. The shroud takes the form of the longcoat Paladin Lucifer wears in battle.

Military Scriptures and rosary cross: Constant items he takes everywhere.

Strengths: His faith in a higher power, in addition to his innate stubbornness ensures that attempts to influence his mind will more often than not, fail. In battle, he fights like a Hunter and makes contingency plans, to ensure success. Using the sum of his individual power and skills, he makes for a terrifying opponent.

Weakness/ Fears: His code of honor is his bond. Unscrupulous folks could make good use of that, seeking to manipulate him. In addition, he can be killed with enough force and application. He's no marksman also, guns being a weapon of last resort. His nigh-suicidal battle mindset could also be used to lure him, as can the possibility of innocents harmed. His final Weakness is his reliance on Blood Plasma.

Other: "These are God's children. And you will not harm them."

-Paladin Lucifer.

Name: Colonel-Commissar Anastasia Valarius.

Galaxy of origin: Warhammer 40k

Birth World: Vostroya

Regiment Name: The Iron Bears 56th

Notable Members: 'Firefly' Ivan(Heavy Weapons specialist, Flamer) and Rykov Gregorvitch(Scout, Sniper).

Regiment Specialty(Reconnaissance): A key part of any war effort, reconnaissance units allow an army to scout out enemy movements and positions, and their keen senses and training allow them to swiftly ambush enemy patrols attempting to do the same. Due to their role, reconnaissance units invariably operate far ahead of army commanders, requiring considerable autonomy and personal initiative, traits that often breed a strong sense of daring and recklessness. For all their typical ill-discipline, reconnaissance units are invaluable assets to any army commander.

Training Doctrine(Favored Foe): Dark Eldar

Special Equipment Doctrines(Chameleoline): The regiment’s duties require them to move unseen across the battlefield, and for this reason, they have been equipped with colour-shifting chameleoline, which helps them blend in with their surroundings.

Personal Equipment

GRAPNEL & LINE
Grapnels use a small launcher or gas-gun to fire a hooked or magnetic grapnel, connected to the launcher with a coiled 100m length of thin but strong line. Once the grapnel attaches to the desired spot such as a rooftop, a Guardsman can manually climb the line or activate a powered winch. Common sets can hold 150kg, while Good or Best can support 200 kg.

MAGNOCULARS
These are powerful vision aids that magnify distant objects. More advanced, high quality magnoculars can also do such things as give range read-outs, detect heat sources, calculate target location positioning, and take pict-captures of a view for later analysis.

MICRO-BEAD
A micro-bead or comm-bead is a short range communication device worn in the ear, good for communication out to about one kilometer (depending on weather conditions and intervening terrain).

MULTICOMPASS
When exploring new worlds, a device of this ancient tech-pattern is indispensable—but few have the means or influence to acquire one. After a few seconds of analyzing planetary data, a multicompass can display directions, show topographical maps, point out compass bearings, indicate altitude, and much more. Even the Mechanicus Calixis do not fully understand all of the capabilities of such a rare and hallowed device. Possessing a multicompass adds a +20 bonus to all Survival and Navigation (Surface) Tests.

Personal Weapons

BOLTGUN
Boltguns are known for the unique roar they make when fired, as the propellant in their shells ignites, followed shortly by the explosive detonation as they hit their target. Hearing one is an experience only slightly less satisfying than seeing the results of such a weapon in action.

POWER FIST
Rather than encasing an edged weapon with a power field, a power fist uses the energy to disrupt material in a more violent fashion. Worn as a huge glove, when the mechanically augmented fist strikes its target it can tear open even the heaviest armour and burst flesh into a shower of blood and tissue. Unless worn as part of power armour, it normally requires heavy backpack-mounted power sources connected to the fist via heavy cables. Some variants are designed to maximize rending and crushing power, while others are better suited to exert a maximum of force when punching. A suitably braced user can knock through the strongest bulkheads or rend even reinforced armour. Most are ancient relics, with the mantle inscribed with family heraldry or iconography indicating impressive victories. This a one-handed melee weapon.

Regiment Assignment: The Spinward Front

Local Planet(Kalf): A frontier world spinward of Sinophia, Kalf is host to a planetwide desert of shifting sand seas that harbour a number of highly aggressive autochthonic life forms, including the notorious Kalfian Sand Devil. Of late, Kalf has served as a staging ground for Imperial Guard regiments deploying to Kulth, yet the activities of another enemy has caused several to remain there to guard against a new threat. A Dark Eldar force identified as the retinue of the Haemonculous Tevriel Vektesh has launched numerous realspace raids into the system, and in particular into the deeps of the Kalfian sand seas, to unknown ends. Imperial Guard units tasked with engaging the Dark Eldar have found the environment and its native life forms every bit as deadly an enemy as the Haemonculous and her cruel followers, and several entire companies have failed to return from search and engage missions.

Bio: When speaking of Commissar Anastasia, one can hardly prevent themselves from mentioning the Regiment she was assigned to, the Iron Bears 56th. A primarily cold-weather regiment, due to an Administratum error they were assigned to the Desert world of Kalf. To this news, Commissar Anastasia simply checked her ammo and began her job alongside her comrades.

Nicknamed 'Mama Bear' among the squad, it is nothing less then pride that they give her that nickname. Her commanding presence and lack of fear in getting her hands dirty has given the regiment the impression that she is good luck and between their skills and her leadership, she has yet to report a single infraction worthy of execution.

As for Anastasia herself, she loves her regiment like her own sons and brothers and any strike against them, she regards as a strike against her. This is the primary reason why they bear such intense hatred against the Dark Eldar, who in in prior skirmishes the regiment lost their own to. The Chimera is their choice of vehicle and despite their disadvantage, they bear the highest rate of success in scouting missions in the sector thus far insofar as Kalf goes. To assist her in command of the Regiment since the last commanding officer was killed by their hated enemy, she has gained the field rank of Colonel-Commissar and advised by the two senior regiment figures. Sargent 'Firefly' Ivan and Lieutenant Rykov Gregorvitch.

NAME: Rocky Balboa

CLASS : Berserker(Fake)

ORIGIN: Rocky Movies

ALIGNMENT: Lawful Good

STRENGTH: C+

ENDURANCE: A

AGILITY: C

MAGICAL ENERGY: E

LUCK: E

NOBLE PHANTASM: NA

Skills

Mad Enhancement: Rank EX. raises basic parameters in exchange of hindering mental capacities. In some cases, also seals away Personal Skills. In the case of Berserker Fake, it raises his stats and focus's him entirely on a singular opponent, as though it was a personal match. This is a callback to his many bouts, where he shut out everything else to win over an opponent.

- "It ain't over till its over."

Battle Continuation: Rank B. The Ability to stay alive, despite fatal blows on the verge of death. In the case of Berserker Fake, its testament to his endurance when fighting opponents who by all rights, outmatched him in every way.

- “Life's not about how hard of a hit you can give... it's about how many you can take, and still keep moving forward.”

Fisticuffs: Rank B. Berserker Fake and his skill in fist fighting, borne out of experience fighting stronger opponents all his life.

- "What's so crazy about standing toe-to-toe with someone saying "I am"?

Noble Phantasm

Rock of Ages(Anti-Unit Noble Phantasm): Rank A. Centered against a single target, Berserker Fake dives in against a foe, automatically bypassing their defense or counter to unleash a single, powerful punch derived from his pugilist experience to smash enemy servants. Can only be used once per day.

Profile: Berserker Fake was derived from a magus who messed up her summoning ritual and gained him instead. Scandalized at gaining something modern rather then some legend instead, she was dismissive and rude though this changed as she later began to learn from him and the lessons he'd impart. Together, they made a formidable team in the war he was summoned in.

Berserker Fake himself was easy going as it was, friendly outside of fights and treating potential opponents with respect. Satisfied with how his life was, despite the fact it was simply a movie, he cited his joy emerging from knowing it inspired others in life. In battle, he was not a Servant to be underestimated.
