Personality: Due to the abuse after her sister (Nelyvia) left, she turned aggressive to those who use sheer violence. Yet, she is helpful, tries to be delightful. She loves to joke around, talking, and teasing. Though, the abuse taught her a lot of things. For example the coldness. Like a switch is pulled, she can turn from the nice Tiefling to the Demon and Beast she is. She has tight borders and is confused about her own emotions, most of the time. Mevas stays calm, though, in most situations- thanks to Nelyvia. After her sister had left the family because of the never-ending abuse, it was Mevas's turn to be punished for the dullest things. Then, she had noticed what her sister had endured and that the coldness, with what she treated her, was so, so wrong. That way, Mevas turned into what she is nowadays.History:
Born as the second oldest was always cool. Her two younger siblings- the Demon-Twins- followed her actions precisely. The Mother, who had told them how to treat the oldest, had been always so, so proud when they dissed her about the new bruises and cuts, or when they terrorized her to do their chores. Yet, one-day Nelyvia snapped. Enough, the Tiefling had enough. Something young Mevas hadn't understood. It was normal for one family member to be beaten up, wasn't it? After all, that was what they grew up with.
In the beginning, her absence had rifted their routines. Who was now there to chop the wood? Or skin the prey? Or cook? No one. Either Mevas had to do it, or her sisters. Too young, the twins had been too young for such tasks. Everything went smoothly... Until her father returned and tried to beat Ferrin up. Mevas, as the fifteen-year-old she was, stepped between the ancient sire and the ten-year-old Tiefling. Three rips, three rips had been broken back then!
This was going on for several years until she had enough. Was this what Nelyvia endured for decades?! She had... protected them until one of the three were old enough to eventually snap. And Mevas did. Before her parents noticed it, she was over several mountains and lands with her sisters. Nelyvia had- they treated her so bad but she literally protected them! A wall of guilt rose inside of her. The Twins had understood that too. And they understood the split up. Mevas left them in a town, send them the money she either stole or legally gained through the dirtiest jobs imaginable.
Occupation: She owns the "Golden Solar Café" a cafe where criminals like to work and proceed with their work

Powers of a Warlock.
Warlocks can consume souls. When a Warlock consumed a soul their mouth would widen and their teeth would turn bigger, darker and stronger and looked like they could 'tear through bone and gristle'. This process allowed the Warlock to consume the victim's magical energy to replenish their own. Warlocks are also able to manipulate light to burst from their palm where it was described the skin would 'bubble and boil' the beam would paralyse targets and not cause lethal damage. When wounded, light bursts from the would and heals the wound. When their powers are bound, (such as wearing shackles) they self-destruct by bursting into light, leaving only their clothes behind, so it is presumed that the explosion is non-destructive. Warlocks can also create balls of energy that explode after time and are unaffected by magic attacks. The light fired from a Warlock can also be used as a normal energy blast or manipulated to white fire. Warlocks may also be able to manipulate other forms of energy other than light as the warlocks were able to take down the shield over The City Of Sorcerers and were shown to open portals (though this may require two warlocks, one on each side of the portal)
Strong Warlocks can also summon creatures known as Wretched. Like zombies but slightly weaker. An average Warlock would be able to summon a couple of them. The strongest ones being able to summon up to twenty thousand.

History: The Excelsior house has often been a laughing stock of the noble houses, often even omitted from literature on the matter. However, Elvira denounced her family's connections when she was 14 and struck out on her own as Dianne. She portrays herself as a noble, but no one can quite place her family, and that makes the other nobles anxious. Born into the aftermath of the war with Mevolent, she knew the hardship of the post-war condition, but she knew nothing of the atrocities committed during the war proper.

Symbol Magic, also known as Signum Linguistics, is a branch of Adept magic, known to be used by China Sorrows and her students.
Symbols can be placed either on the body as a tattoo, or drawn on to other objects as well as dirt, as seen in China's Library. The signs can be activated by a series of taps on them, through a sorcerer coming into contact with them, magic being used in their presence etc. The symbols can be used for many different purposes, they can be used as offensive energy attacks, defensive walls, escape methods, and a host of other things, such as making tea.
