Fracture

The Ship flew high above the planet, and Kaw began to look alarmed, "Adelia, Wraith, To the cannons! We got company,"

Several purplish-black planes flew by, shooting small condensed green plasma balls at the plane, "Uh, We kinda lost an engine, Damn it," Kaw groaned, he grabbed Adelia, and pushed her into the seat, "Hope you know how to fly," He put on armor, then jumped out of the plane.

He landed on one of the enemy planes. He grabbed a small dagger, jabbing it into the aliens neck and it died almost instantly. He grabbed it, throwing it out of the plane roughly. He jumped into the seat, steering towards a much larger ship. Three of the now six Cavaskeran planes appeared in front of him, intent on stopping Kaw in his path. He pressed a small button next to the steering wheel, causing green plasma bolts to shoot at one of the opposing planes, causing it to cough and splutter then fall towards the planet below. The alien screamed all the way down. The other two were closing in on him. Fast. He jumped out of the plane as they neared him, shooting an alien in the head then sliding into the seat. The other alien ship crashed into the one he had just left and both exploded in a roar of flames. A flame got close. Maybe a bit to close. His shoulder now throbbed in pain, he saw their ship holding on against the other planes. "Damn it. Adelia? You alright over there?" Before he even heard her, he flew towards the much larger, enemy ship, lining up with the open doors and going inside.

Adelia snarled. They had lost the engines and Kaw thought it would be best to slam Adelia into the pilot seat and take off. Adelia didnt know how to fly a big plane like this, but she could guess. The plane wanted to tip straight down and crash front-first, but then Adelia would surely die. She angled the steerer thingy straight up so that it would be hitting the ground sideways and that she wouldn't die. When it did crash, Adelia was thrown forward, landing on her side and feeling blood on her cheek. After a moment, she got up, groaning as every part of her body hurt. She had scrapes and bruises all over her, but the worst one was on her cheek. It was a deep scrape that went from her temple to the bottom of her jaw on the left side of her face. The whole left side of her face was coated in blood. Feeling a little dizzy, she leaned on something and the pulled herself up. Even if he was not the very best person, she had to help him. As she walked, she got a little more of her strength back. She found a lot of hostiles waiting for her on the ground. Getting out her incineration blade, she forced herself to step out and start fighting.

'Damn it..' Kaw thought. He grabbed one of the silvery bipedal creatures, wrapping his arm around its neck and it struggled, kicking out. It was panicking, good. A desperate attempt to get out, it smashed its silvery head against Kaw's causing him to let go and stumble backwards. Before the creature could call for help, Kaw leapt at it, stabbing a dagger into its neck causing it to struggle and die.

He kept on walking down the hallway, and quickly hid behind a weapons stack as a few guards walked past. One of them cried out as they saw they're dead comrade. Kaw cursed, jumping out, and shooting several shots in quick succession, each one taking down an alien. He picked up his radio, quickly tuning it to a different frequency.
"Adelia come in. Adelia are you there? Damn it! If you're getting this I'm sending a few supplies you'll need. Goodbye, possibly for the last time." He put the radio down, pulling out a small pistol and walking down the corridor.

He stopped, frozen in his tracks. Ahead of him was a man, clad in rusted silver armour and gaseous green eyes. "Ah f-" The man leapt at him, and Kaw instinctively raised his arm, smacking the man into a wall. The man growled, running at Kaw again. He was about to bat away the man again before a large, green plasma sword erupted out of the mans arm.

Kaw cursed, trying to get out of the way but the sword nicked his shoulder and a punch sent him tumbling to the ground. It stung like hell, a large but light gash cutting into his arm. He raised his arm, a small, plasmatic blue sword coming out of his.

Kaw licked his dry, bleeding lips. "Let's be having you." He said, leaping at the man as the man leaped at him.

Wraith carefully extricated himself from the wreakage. That went well for a stealth mission. He saw Kaw facing their target, fighting him. Like an idiot. Wraith unsheathed DayBreak, the bare blade reflecting the sunlight on the planet. Wraith ran, fast, his exosceleton assisting him as he ran, and slammed into the green-bladed stranger, knocking him back a few feet, giving them room to maneuver.
He spun DayBreak in his right hand and held it backhand, preparing three kunai to throw on his left.

The stranger turned around, batting Wraith away like a fly, then catching Kaw's punch and crunching his elbow into Kaw's neck. He stumbled backwards, feeling like he just got hit by a wall. He saw the man walking towards Wraith. He leapt up, wrapping his elbow around the mans neck and making him tumble to the floor. "Remember what I told you earlier? Get Adelia and run!" He shouted, just as the man embedded the green sword into Kaw's stomach. "Uh oh." He muttered as he crumpled to the ground.

Adelia got Kaw's transmission. "Okay, copy that." She panted, hacking through the next hostile that came at her. Eventually finding Kaw and Wraith, she saw Kaw was struggling with some kind of hostile. Soundlessly creeping around the back of it, she heard Kaw tell Wraith, "Remember what I told you earlier? Get Adelia and run!" Her lip curling, Adelia leapt at the hostile Kaw was fighting and stabbed her blade at the back of his neck. There was no way he could have seen her coming. "I can take care of myself!"

Wraith flew backward, backflipping and throwing the kunai at the creature, landing on his feet, spinning and skidding to release the extra velocity. He pulled out NightFall as well, shadows streaming across the blade as he spun around, wrapping a coccoon of darkness around them. "Close your eyes," Wraith said, warning her.

The blade clanged against the mans armour. The man slowly began to turn around, his gaseous green eyes settling on her. He disappeared, reappearing behind Adelia and kicking her forwards, and turned around, slamming his plasmatic sword into the ground, causing several bipedal silvery creatures to appear, Kaw looked up, his eyes dim, "R-run god damn it!" He stumbled up, and the man looked at Kaw, finally beginning to talk, "Resilient aren't you?" His voice was dark and raspy.

As Adelia's sword missed, clanging against his armour, Adelia's heart sank. Clenching her jaw, she ran over to where Kaw stood. "Wraith,, come on!" She screamed. Her eyes were on fire, ready to do whatever she needed to do to get them all out alive.

The man smacked Adelia out of the way, picking Kaw up and repeatedly smashing his helmet against the wall until the helmet had begun to crack and Kaw fell into the blissful state of unconsciousness, dropping to the ground as the man let him go.
"Well.. Not so resilient anymore is he?" The man laughed, "Kill them all." The Silvery creatures pulled out these purplish-blue energy blades then leapt at their opponents.

A large ship appeared in the distance, a dark silver in colour and it was coming towards the planet. Fast.

Adelia sighed and picked Kaw up with a lot of difficulties, but eventually propped him up against a wall, defending herself and him from the silvery creatures. She was holding her own really well for being outnumbered this badly, hacking through the creatures. She looked over at her shoulder at the approaching ship, hoping that they had come to help them escape. If not, they would probably die. No, not probably, the would definitely die.

Wraith sighed. No one listened to him. He ran and jumped, spinning in the air and landing, cutting down several of the minions. One of them slashed horizontally at his back, and he blocked it easily. Under his helmet, Wraith smiled. He adjusted the angle of his sword, and the enemy's blade snapped, and DayBreak slashed into the silvery creature, and he was pleased to find out that they died. So he spun with DayBreak in a deadly dance, blocking, parrying, and slashing his enemies down. He spun DayBreak backhand and stabbed an oncoming enemy. He saw Aadelia was in trouble. He sighed, exasperated. If he was by himself, he would've done this easily. The others made so much noise, they didn't even realize it. He cut a silvery creature in half and jumped up, throwing kunai into the horde of creatures while he sailed in a prolonged backflip toward Adelia, landing in front of her, cutting down some of the creatures.

He pushed a button on his arm that called his ship. He spun another cocoon of darkness with NightFall, warning Adelia for the second time to close her eyes.

Adelia heard Wraith tell her to close her eyes. A little confused, but he had just helped her. She did as he said, closing her eyes with her blade held in front of her.

The large, silvery ship landed, the aliens looked triumphant. Confident in their victory. That is until hundreds of military soldiers poured out of the large ship, surrounding the aliens and the man, looked around, before disappearing into the ground.
