I used to play a lot of forum RPs but it's been a few years!

Looking to get back into some for fun and to toy around with some characters and worldbuilding, and to fill a d&d shaped hole in a less time intensive, easier to organise way.

I'm an absolute sucker for some historical or low magic fantasy, anything lotr adjacent or ripped off from an iron age civilisation, because I apparently don't have an original bone in my body. I promise I'm good at hiding that when I'm RPing, though.

Hey, welcome to STC. Check out the Approval Guide if you have not already. By the way, I was a big enough fan of LOTR when it came out that I almost bought checks with Frodo and Samwise Gamgee on them. Nice to know someone else out there remembers LOTR as the big deal and still likes it.
