Well, I found this looking about for Roleplay sites because my current main site is a bit low at the moment.

Additionally, if I could be told how to disable the chat on the bottom of my screen after accidentally enabling it, that would be nice. I looked around and can't find a button.

But yeah this sight seems nice so far.

To answer your question first, I'm not sure there is a way or disabling the chat bar at the bottom. It's just there. If there is though, I haven't seen the option yet, so there may be one.
