I've been searching for a place to role-play for some time now, I overheard some acquaintances mentioning this website and I decided to give it a try.
I am working on a screenplay with characters I don't know very well as of yet, and I was hoping to get to know them better by inserting them in different situations and seeing how it plays out. However, I also enjoy role-playing for fun.
I am particularly interested in adventure and romance RPs that contain well-made plotlines and character arcs. I am generally more fond of literate RPing (example: "John walked to the door, 'is that all? really?' he asked. He rolled his eyes, but he was perfectly satisfied with the information he obtained. Of course, he was never gonna tell Dave that." versus "Is that all? Really? *sighs dramatically and walks to the door*"), although I am willing to work with either format if my fellow RPers prefer one over the other.
