The hum of the drive roared in the overwhelming silence throughout the ship. The void of space passed around them, the inviting darkness held their brothers and sisters, it was simply a matter of finding them.

We begin today.

Alone Together, Out There is a space exploration roleplay aboard the ship - Core. The ship has developed extremely powerful technology over a millennia of autopilot and AI experimentation through space while its inhabitants were in stasis. At the end of its long journey from the dead planet of Earth, it arrived at Kepler-452b and deposited its component part - The Ring, which is a terraforming device with Human embryos to colonize the planet. The terraforming will take 7 centuries that the volunteer crew of the Core cannot wait and as such, they set forth out to find the predecessor ship, The Eagle and Sickle which was sent out on the same mission decades before on the the same mission, in hopes that they have found a suitable planet.
Who knows what the galaxy holds for them in their search?

What kinds of things might they see on their journeys to find the other two ships?
 
Ah its actually two sister ships - The Eagle and Sickle & The Core and Ring, you can get a better picture at the adventure if you check out the main page though. The main plot line is being decided among 3 different variants through a poll. There will most likely be inter-dimensional events. Probably the most in A Desolate World and A World Lost, most likely less or a moderate amount in the last scenario.
