Hi! Didn't see you there. I'm new here (duh). The names foreigner. I look forward to meeting and hainging out with you all (to be honest though: *lowers voice* im really just here for the roleplays. And the snacks)
 
Welcome to the site, Foreigner! Curious, is your username a reference to the band? I'm pretty new here, too, and everyone's been super welcoming and helpful as I learn my way around. What kind of roleplays do you like?

No my username dosnt reference the band (I wasn't even around in the 80s and I've never listened to theyre music. I do like back to the future though. And 70s music. Although a mind like mine and 70s music don't really mix.)
 
Haha, fair enough. I wasn't around either, but my dad basically raised me on 70s-80s rock. What genres do you usually like to write?
 
Sci-fi, fantasy, fan fiction, etc. basically anything that's not romance, Mary Sue, porn, nsfw, or horror
 
Well hey there and welcome to the boards. I will be looking forward to seeing you join the roleplays in the future. I joined just for the roleplays too, but I've made a few friends along the way. Fairly certain that if you spend the time here the same will happen to you.
 
Yeah, I'm not much into that, either. Well, once you get your account approved, there are tons of threads in the Bulletin Board section, there's even one specifically for new members looking for a roleplay. Getting approved doesn't take too long, just make some posts in the community forums, prove you're not a robot, y'know. Let me know if you have any questions, though!

Everyone here is really nice, honestly. Dunno what forums you've been on, but this one is clearly superior.
 
Yes, STC is very friendly. I have been on other forums before and sometimes there is room for only a certain genre of interest and either your in or you're not. At any rate since both of you are newer give me a yell if you need anything.
 
I have been on 3 other forums. One of them was terrible and confusing, one of them was a tabletop one wich I stick around on because it's fun, and one of them wasn't a roleplay forum but has a roleplay section and I hang out in other areas of it as well. The last one is currently my favorite. I hope that this forum makes my list of favorites too.
