"I'm not going to make promises I can't keep," Raymond said rather matter of factly. "And you must have me confused with someone else. I'm not Shrrgnien." He added. He glanced at the carving that the caretaker was working on. "So, this whole thing?" He gestured to the carvings on the walls. "Are a history of Haven?"
 
The Caretaker smiled at him.
"I know who you are, Raymond Murray. One of the Vrenshrrgn. The name in your soul is Shrrgnien, a title you have earned."
He looked out upon the walls, taking in the place.
" I was not asking you to make a promise. I was simply stating fact."
"No, Shrrgnien, this is not the history of haven, this is history. Of your own kind as well. A history of blood."
The Caretaker looked back at him, waiting for him to respond. He often took a while.
