Akashic Arcana is an epic roleplay universe set in the year 2153 A.D, where humanity achieved the knowledge to harness magic, and thus advanced themselves as a species in both science and magic. After the devastation of the Hundred Years' Wars initiated in the beginning of 2013, Eight Empires emerged from the ashes of the old world. To maintain this uneasy peace through treaties, a world renown academy named Arcadia opened its doors for application to all citizens of the Eight Empires. Do to Arcadia Academy's fame for training a generation's best magic wielding mages, the aristocrats, elites, and even royals send their children to the Academy overseas. Due to the potential risk of assassination and terrorist attacks, the Academy is heavily fortified and can hold back an entire nation if it is required.

The world of Akashic Arcana has a rich lore, which dates back to the consequence of the first discovery of magic and its hand in shaping the present timeline of the roleplay. Furthermore, under the World Historia section at our forum, you will find an in-depth description of all the Eight Empires and learn about each of their unique inherited magical arts, which is only available to people who hail from their respective nations.

Please be advised that at no times do we allow roleplay to be done on our Discord, as it is against STC rules of conduct.

The Akashic Arcana Epic Roleplay is created for Story Teller's Circle by Katie, and further refined by the GM-staff Aer Shiana and Zangyl. With the amount of thought, lore, and world-building, we require a certain amount of maturity and roleplay experience from applicants.

Our Epic Roleplay follow the same forum rules of STC

Akashic Arcana Rules
  • Metagaming: We do not tolerate any form of metagaming in this RP. You are not allowed to bring in OOC knowledge into IC.
  • Powergaming: All combat/action towards a character that is not your own has to be followed by an "attempt". You cannot decide the outcome of your actions towards another character.
  • Godmodding: At no times are you allowed to Godmod. Your character is not impervious to damage or untouchable, and you are expected to be descriptive and logical when an action is directed towards you.
  • Roleplay is done in 3rd person writing
  • No one-liner posts: Akashic Arcana is not encouraged for completely new roleplayers, as we expect a detailed amount of writing. We do however understand that in some situations, a few sentences are enough to meet the requirements.
  • At no circumstances are you allowed to roleplay without an approved character sheet
  • If a GM finds your content or behavior degenerative, you will be removed from the group and reported to a site moderator
  • More rules may show up in the future, depending on necessity of the situation

Akashic Arcana is once again open to new members! Standing with 20 active roleplayers on our discord server, we have now more or less settled in everyone and the GM team plus our senior members are ready to accommodate new members into our fold! Our most capable recruitment officer @Draco Shadowdragon is out there scouting for potential members, if he didn't get to you already and you are interested in our setting, feel free to contact myself or any of the GMs.
